Character

Born underneath the green canopy of The Black Shroud where Keepers of the Moon lived in quiet seclusion, Kagi'ir spent much of his youth wandering. His never-ending curiosity enabled him to befriend various creatures and beasts alike, while studying them for his own leisure. It was a small reprieve from his mother's training to begin his duty in providing for his tribe.

As the years went on, Kagi'ir found a hobby that was soon to rival his fiery passion for the hunt; he often found himself traveling across the Shroud to study the various natures of trained chocobo, often using a few spare gil from the tribe's earnings to purchase feed for the large birds.

Upon finding out that her son would occasionally shirk aside his training in favor of surveying the animals that intrigued him, Kagi'ir's mother urged him to continue with his own personal affairs, so long as he continued to uphold the merits of his family in hopes to create his own tribe someday.

With Menphina's Love and his mother's blessing, Kagi'ir dissociated from his mother's watchful eye soon after his 19th Nameday to pursue a life that was controlled entirely by his own means.

Appearance

A rarity for a Keeper of the Moon, Kagi'ir sports a pale complexion with light freckles that blend in, making it difficult to distinguish from his skin tone.

Irises mirroring the color of deep woods, they tend to stand out against his other features. However, a bandanna often covers his sightless left eye marred with a thin scar that runs vertically down his face: the result of an unfortunate encounter with a Grand Morbol.

Short auburn hair with natural highlights and sun damage causing a shade of color lighter at the ends top the Miqo'te's head, save for black tipped ears; he keeps it short and choppy, partly due to lack of proper cutting tools, but mostly to keep it out of his eyes.

Normally found in all dark attire with gold accents, he is hardly ever seen with his various uniforms in disarray.
