Born as an unblooded Garlean, Kal was raised and adopted by a distinguished military family. At a young age of 13 was he inducted into a Garlean magitek experimentation program where enhanced soldiers would be developed. In service to the Empire did he serve as Tribunus Laticlavius of the Ist Legion and later supported the efforts of the Populares during the Garlean Civil War. After the betrayal made by his tempered comrades did he exile himself from Garlemald and found opportunity in Ishgard serving as a Vagabond Temple Knight. He now contributes to the Ishgardian restoration and aids Garlean refugees.
