Kelhsy Bladesong, nicknamed Kel for short, is a Miqo'te woman that is an adventuring merchant. She spent her early life learning my different trades and combat arts all while training and becoming a knight. When her home was eventually destroyed by a civil war and annexed by the Garleans she was forced to flee to Eorzea. Gridania soon became her new home and where she found the love of her life, the two married soon after. She now has mastered different combat arts along with artisan crafts and loves making more "exotic" devices and potions. She's currently living the life of an adventurer but also works as an escort with a wide variety of services.
Kelhsy Bladesong is a Miqo'te woman who stands at about 180 centimeters. She has medium length hair with purple highlights and dual colored eyes. The left eye is purple while the right one is yellow. She also wears different styles of glasses. She has a light or tanned complexion, depending if she got a tan or not and a toned body. She takes very good care of herself since her image is important to her. She's usually wearing something casual or is in one of her adventuring sets. In addition to being an adventurer, Kelhsy also works as a merchant of alchemical and mechanical wares, which she herself makes.
Aspects That Stand Out:
Kelhsy was born into a now destroyed kingdom's royal bloodline. During her early years she formed a strong curiosity for knowledge and the thirst for experiencing many things. While being grown as a heir to the throne she learned how to handle a sword, proper etiquette but most importantly she became a scholar at an early age due to the amount of things she has read in the kingdom's great libraries. It was in her youth when also her early interest in alchemy formed. She could heal her wounds that she would sustain during sword practice with spell and potion. After finishing her knighthood training with her future brothers and sisters in arms she started working for her country. The young adult woman was seemingly a visage of a perfect knight, scholar and mender of wounds. With her charismatic personality and royal upbringing she was a great diplomat, but unfortunately the kingdom had erupted into a civil war.
As the civil war raged on over a treacherous Knight Captain's claim to the throne Kelhsy's parents were killed while trying to reason with some of the peasant leaders which turned out to be just an ambush. Kelhsy in the Kingdom's capital was crowned Queen the very same day and called her knights to avenge the Bladesong bloodline and to extinguish the flame that was burning the country to ash. Battle after battle both sides were getting weaker and as months passed fighters on both sides were losing numbers and morale. One final battle was supposed to be the deciding factor on who will be the ruler of this already burned out country. During the battle the rebel army was destroyed but most of Kelhsy's knights fell as well and as the battle seemed to be over, the traitor former Knight Captain approached Kelhsy to duel over the crown. The duel was barely won by Kelhsy who still sustained a grievous wound thanks to which she almost died on the field, luckily for her several of her knights still lived and managed to keep her alive. But as the Queen was victorious she still knew that there was nothing left of her country due to the civil war draining it for all it had and now the Garlean Empire had set their sights on the remnants of the kingdom for their own. With Kelhsy and only seven knights left standing they knew there was in the end nothing they could do but flee or face execution by the occupying forces of Garlemald. And so after escaping to a port with her last few loyal knights they took a boat and fled to Eorzea, thus arriving in Limsa Lominsa.
After arriving in Eorzea and selling off their ship in the port of Limsa Lominsa, Kelhsy freed her knights from service and pleaded with them to seek out new lives which they respected. Kelhsy split away from her knights and started looking around Limsa Lominsa where she first met her wife Miyokari Shinzu which helped the newly arrived girl. Kelhsy due to her skills as a knight and alchemist tried to become a mercenary since she gave what money she got from the sale of the ship to her former knights. In desperation for money and as a way to forget her past she joined a pirate crew. But the past was hard to shake, the crown which once sat on her head weighed heavy on her very being, Kel was haunted by nightmares of reliving the bloodshed she saw and fought in. Even in her waking hours she couldn't help but blame herself for the destruction of her nation and her people. That is when she started drinking with her crew after their missions, after stumbling back to her inn room Kelhsy for the first time stripped bare and started pleasuring herself, the sensation of pleasure on her sensitive regions mixed with the intoxication of the alcohol finally gave her an escape from the thoughts of a burning nation. The previously chivalrous knight now started drowning herself in the hedonistic lifestyle of a pirate, drinking and indulging in perversions to keep off the demons of her past from gnawing at her mind and soul. After a good while with the crew she raised herself enough money to afford to travel and learn the art of being a machinist since during the time as a pirate she learned the value of gunpowder. After training in the Skysteel Manufactory and becoming a full-fledged machinist she started making gadgets for people to earn money. Along with her newfound craftsmanship she also went back to one of her old crafts and was making potions for money.
The Machinist-Alchemist now was making a good living from her creations and didn't rely on sexual satisfaction to shirk her past, her accomplishments gave her enough satisfaction. During this time she became closer to Miyokari as the two went from dating to getting married, but yet Miyokari still had an issue of her own, her memories of home were lost. Kelhsy with her newfound wealth bought a trip to Hingashi, Miyokari's homeland with the hope of restoring her memories. The wives had a lot of adventure in the lands and succeeded in restoring Miyokari's memory. But while traveling Kelhsy learned of the samurai and once more was drown back towards a more honorable way of combat and so she trained to become one after laying her pistol down. As a samurai Kelhsy felt once more the pride and joy she felt while being a knight, helping the weak and beating the strong and wicked.
Kelhsy and her wife bought houses in Kugane and settled down there but decided to continue their adventurous lifestyle. And with new trials came new problems, as the adversaries they faced seemed to be stronger and stronger Kelhsy's swordsmanship and discipline had seemed to be lacking. And after several humiliations she suffered due to her own faults she hung her katana and decided that she will just be a merchant of her wares. Kelhsy spending a lot of time alone while making gadgets and potions had left her to fight her past once more, but this time she knew she had a weapon to fight it, her libido. And so she crafted potions to increase her pleasure and gadgets to pleasure her as she worked or read her many books. As time passed more and more craftsmen became competition for her and with her confidence being as low as it was she practically gave up on selling her wares in public markets. That is when she started looking for alternative ways to earn money, this lead her to become a dancer. During this time she also managed to find clients for her more sexually charged inventions and potions. She was a supportive dancer for adventurers and a private dancer for well paying clients who took her to their homes and away from the club she had worked at. Eventually she gave another chance to become an adventurer and after having studied both black and white magics she wanted to be a Red Mage. But as her self-confidence was dropping still and her past demons were starting to come back she still tried to persevere and become a proper beast hunter within a group of adventurers, yet her mind did not give her rest even during battle and eventually she dropped her sword and picked up her gun again.
After making herself a fool in front of her adventuring partners for the last time something snapped in Kelhsy, she wished to escape it all and drowned herself in a sea of pleasure ultimately becoming a private escort and selling the only thing she thinks has value anymore, her body. Along with the loss of all her self-confidence she also destroyed her weapon that she used as a red mage, she also went back to using guns and her inventions for when adventure calls. Kelhsy's mind is now almost always filled with perversions which she uses to stave off depression. After she spent more time in the group she was part of she slowly understood her full potential as a master of the gun and sword thus becoming a Gunbreaker. Time came and went until a pivotal moment where Kelhsy understood that she has to depart from the group of adventurers she is part of.
After departing from the group Kelhsy went out of a personal adventure that is currently on-going but somehow along the way she discovered a potion which turned her into a Viera. While she doesn't mind the change of form she is looking into a way to reverse the effect and maybe even create more potions from the leftovers of the one she drank.
Kel tends to have a very adaptive personality. She is a very friendly and kind woman, but she is also capable of doing things that would make people react to her favorably. In certain situations she can be really flirtatious. However she has a strong sense between right and wrong and is no stranger to act if necessary. While rather closed up on first glance, Kelhsy really loves meeting people and forming bonds with people.
