[edit] Details Personality Relationships Rumors Gallery OOC Notes GENERAL INFORMATION Kodama Tatsuya is, like many other of his people from the villages around Doma. He grew up on a farm until his early teenage years where he was sent to Kugane to train under the Samurai to better learn discipline. He spent most of his time training, meditating and focusing on his skills. It was during the Garlean invasions of Doma that he chose to depart from his brothers in arms in order to seek out the fate of the family he was sent away from. Overall he is not quite as serious as he looks when he's relaxed, usually the first to make an off-color joke or poke fun at those around him, but once outside of his home or workplace he is a deadly weapon with a focus on completing his task. APPEARANCE Kodama is not as tall as some of his Auri kin. He does stand at 6 Fulm 7 Ilm he still manages to tower over a great deal of those around him. His skin is a creamy mocha color that contrasts against his pearly scales. His skin has its fair share of scars from one under his eye to the many around his back, legs and chest. His eyes are a silvery-grey color, His left seeming a bit darker than his right. His body is very well toned, years spent training with the Samurai of Kugane has payed off for the man, leaving him agile and ready for combat at a moment's notice. Aspects That Stand Out: ■ One eye is darker than the other. ■ He wears glasses. ■ Has scars all over his body. PERSONALITY Kodama is as what one would expect for a man of his profession, he is usually fairly calm and collected and not easy to temper unless something threatens the balance. When he's with his family and friends he is quite relaxed, teasing and taunting those around them, even getting into light sparring matches when the time comes. L I K E S ■ Dogs - He loves dogs and doglike creatures, it's not surprising that he has a small dog trailing him most of the time. ■ Food. Kodama is a very food motivated man. Having a very high metabolism and spending a decent amount of time training, when a meal is involved, you can bet that Kodama will be one of the first to volunteer his services. . ■ Sparring Kodama enjoys sparring and training those around him. He finds that sharing styles with others is the best way to learn how others around him fight as well as teach a few things as well. D I S L I K E S ■ Garleans. Kodama has no love for Garleans, while he won't attack those who come in peace, any wrong move could result in some serious damage. ■ Fish Kodama does not like the taste of fish, the texture also grosses him out quite a bit. H O B B I E S ■ The ArtsKodama has a love for all things art, spending a fair amount of time painting when he can. If not painting and drawing, he also enjoys music and has some experience with stringed instruments. ■ Swordplay Kodama spends a great deal of time honing his skills with his blade, he can commonly be seen in front of his home moving through the steps and swinging a training blade about. ■ Tending to the gardens Despite his rough appearance Kodama delights in gardening and has several plants in and outside of his home that he can be seen regularly arranging and tending to. S T R E N G T H S ■ Combat. Kodama has spent the better half of his life training, fighting, and serving his community since being sent to train amongst the Kugane samurai. With grace and ferocity, he will fight for what he believes in and will allow his blade to speak when he must. ■ Reading and Language Kodama is a very educated man, having spent a lot of time reading over the years. He's also elected to learn a few different languages and has a decent comprehension of Eorzean amongst some other languages. W E A K N E S S E S ■ Temper While usually calm and collected, should someone push Kodama to the point of anger, it would be wise to flee as the man will not hesitate to lash out and almost seems to have a sadistic streak to him. Character's Thoughts: "I have loved Ayame as long as I have remembered. We grew up together, I am honored to have her in my life and will do whatever I can to make her happy until the end of time." Kodama and Ayame grew up together from a very young age, when he was sent away from the village, his thoughts would still turn to her every now and then. When he left to seek out his family he came across her and a love that had been little more than a spark as children developed as a burning flame of passion. Like a rose growing in a harsh desert, she is beginning to come into her own." To Kodama, Sayaka is his daughter as much as she is Ayame's sister. Having grown fond of the young Raen rather quickly upon finding her in a bad way one day in Ul'dah. He is fiercely protective of her and just like Ayame, will do anything to make sure she is happy. Screenshots ಌ OOC NOTES ಌ OOC INFORMATION Player Note Kodama is usually in character, though sometimes the player will afk or not be paying attention due to real life things, but he will always respond when he can. Personal RP Limits As far as personal RP limits, Kodama is usually pretty flexible. From being mortally wounded in a fight/attack to simply having a drink and making untoward comments and all in between. It is worth noting that ooc conversation for the more serious aspects of RP such as Death and Romance should be discussed.
