A former resident of Limsa Lominsa, Koh'li Auberlaint is a male Keeper of the Moon born in The Black Shroud. Wishing to learn new magicks, he traveled to the Arcanist's Guild of Limsa Lominsa, where he lived for several years. During his time in Limsa Lominsa, Koh'li served as a Maelstrom, worked as a customs officer at Maelvaan's Gate, and eventually attempted to start his own business. After many attempts to be granted entrance to Ishgard, he was finally granted passage through the Holy See. Becoming enamored with the lands of Coerthas and Dravania, Koh'li soon adopted Ishgard as his new home.

Unfortunately, his passion had been a commodity for quite some time in Limsa Lominsa, so he turned his attention back to his home of Gridania. Having needed to replenish his fruits, and a tad bit short on gil, Koh'li offered to escort Natya back to Limsa and act as the foreigner's guide throughout Vylbrand.<br />
