Basic Info

History

Early life

Born to the Viper tribe, L'ohke was a handful as a child. Even at a young age he climbed, explored and otherwise got into trouble, resulting in more bruises and injuries than his older siblings. Despite this, he continued relentlessly and his mother eventually began teaching him some way of defending himself- having found himself on the wrong side of a angry set of teeth more than once. He grew up happy and loved, and less injury-prone now that he had taken up Pugilist training.

Teens

As he grew, his curiousity for the world outside his tribe made him restless. He would often disappear for days, leaving his dear mother to worry, nagging his ear off when he returned with tales of all he had seen and a growing smile on his face. She was not surprised when he left, but simply shook her head and wished she had been bleesed with a less impulsive child.

His first steps into Ul'dah were perhaps one of the most frightning and exhaliration experiences of his life, and he never looked back.

Adulthood

Friends and allies came easy to him, and he got a friend and traveling partner in Hanaa Skychaser, and the two were unseperable for a long time.

And then, the Calamity. He was to head out with several other members of the Immortal Flames, and join the line as one of the many adventurers there. He never showed up and the group left without him.

As he woke, late in the day, having slept far longer than he should, he learned two things. First, that most of his things where missing, along with most of his money. Two, Hanaa had drugged him, causing him to become late to the one battle he had been prepared to give his life in.

Not giving himself any time to think about it, he simply rushed to the battleground, throwing himself into the thick of it. It did not last long. The light, the heat, the deafening sounds were barely registrated before he, like many others, were whisked away from the battle.

When he came too, it was in a place he could scarely recognize. Five years into the future, he felt as if his life had ground to a halt, leaving him with little to nothing and feeling completely lost.

The first few months after he awoke, L'ohke spent some time stewing away in bitterness, the betrayal of his partner and friend cutting him deeply. Many of his earlier comrades and allies had all but disappeared or died in the fight, and the weight of loneliness did not help.

It was not until he made a visit back to Ul'dah, and touched upon the floor in the Quicksand again, that the resentment began to fade. A brief talk with Momodi had him set back on his oath as an adventurer, ready to begin anew.

Personality

Extremely curious and not always aware of how dangerous some things can be, L'ohke always tries to go where there is something new to see. It has caused him some trouble with people in the past, as his drive for seeing anything interesting up close is not always perfectly safe. He is however, rather friendly and easy to distract with something new(or shinier) or a good conversation, something people soon learn to take advantage off.

He is able to employ some wit and sarcasm when needed but otherwise dislikes arguments, and tend to leave that to others. To some, it would seem that he has no real opinion but he simply prefers to keep out of a fight.

Affiliations

Has a fondness for the Pugilist Guild, albeit he never spend much time there. Ul'dah is his home when he isn't traveling somewhere.

Other Notes

I write to much. Still a work in process, things might get a bit tweaked, here and there, and his personality will most likely never cease to grow.
