Appearance & Personality

Lazulle is as short as Elezen will come, yet still looks down on of most other races at 6 fulms. She is as slim as her race is known for, concealing the vigorous training she has put her body through. Blue makes its way into most of her features: blue eyes, blue-gray hair, and hints of blue in her gray skin. A blue winding tattoo goes down the right side over her face, over her eye. Her long hair is pulled back, fully exposing long ears that taper to a fine point. She is almost always found in armor of some sort, sword at her side and shield on her back. When she isn't she'll be found in the simple garb of a weaver, almost exclusively at the Weavers' Guild.

Her personality towards others is affable, as she wants to assuage the fears and prejudices many have towards Duskwight Elezen. Her personality is less exaggerated and crowd-pleasing when with people she trusts fully, though these are few and far between. With other Duskwight she still tries to be friendly, but is a bit more relaxed. That is, unless they prove to perpetuate the harsh stereotypes against Duskwights. This is tempered only by her deeply-ingrained respect towards her elders, which causes great internal conflict. While she tries to keep face in the presence of strangers, her temper is quick to break when someone blatantly goes against her morals of what is right. She is not afraid to confront those she strongly disagrees with, and is not quick to back down. While she has been humbled time and again from minor mistakes, she still thinks highly of herself and her goals, though not to the point where she would look down on those around her. When she sees someone in danger or need, she will throw herself into whatever they face.

Biography

Childhood

Lazulle was born in the underground Duskwight town of Dorbourne, a place filled with isolationist traditions. Her father was a trader, and her mother a picturesque example of the traditional Duskwight woman. She was a mischievous and curious child, and dreamed of being an adventurer like in her father's stories. She was taught with the other children of the town in a small school house, and also read books from the surface that her father would give her, unbeknownst to her mother. Most of her time was spent exploring the cave systems near the town with her male cousin Heaveaux.
