Lieal Fhey (born 28th Sun of the 4th Astral Moon), also known to some as U'lieal Fhey (prior to, and during, her training in Gridania) or Lea, has described herself as a "travelling hermit" who traverses Eorzea in search of work. Having been trained by Gridania's Conjurers Guild during her young adult years, she now offers her services as a healer to those in need.

APPEARANCE

Age 23 (present)

Lieal possesses the pale skin, pale hair and pale eyes characteristic to her Keeper clan. Despite being born of a Seeker mother, the traits prominent in the Seeker clans did not present themselves visibly in Lieal. One possible manifestation of these genes is her skin being slightly more sun-resistant than that of a regular Keeper, allowing for her to travel in places such as Thanalan with more ease.

Eyes: pale blue with large pupils.

Hair color/style: pale blond, typically swept back into a half braid or a long ponytail; a black streak runs alongside her left side.

Clothes: Depending on where she is currently travelling or residing, Lieal will either wear a more conservative look befitting of a scholar (grey and white tunic, black wool pants and brown/black ankle boots) or a healer's garb reminiscent of an Ul'Dahn girl's dancing outfit, of a long white skirt and a midriff-baring bikini top.

Accessories: She wraps a fanciful bow around her neck that she had splurged on, and is fond of bracelets and rings. She wears little due to her frugal finances and wears a circlet on her brow on most occasions.

Weapon: She carries a long wooden staff wrapped in white cloth that ends in two imitations of branches spouting. The staff is decorated with several ribbons she has added as her own personal touch.

ABOUT

PERSONALITY

Lieal developed a sense of professionalism that she prides herself on during her time as an Ul'Dahn dancing girl. Having performed for crowds ranging from beggars, to commoners and even to the high society of Ul'Dah, her attention to detail and body language is exemplar. From her time spent dancing in the company of noble ladies, in particular, Lieal has learned to emulate the airs and graces they express and uses it to her advantage during her current job as a Conjurer. This professionalism usually translates to a polite and self-condifent mask that she presents to the world. Her emotions are often kept in check to the extent where she does not know how to deal with the extremes, and so typically buries them deep within and refuses to deal with them completely until forced to do so.
In her personal life, Lieal is socially awkward with anyone interested in her and not what services she can offer them - having depended on her mother for company for the majority of her life, the woman's disappearance after The Calamity hit her hard and caused her to withdraw even further into her shell. Studying in The Conjurers Guild forced her to expose herself to the company of others, whom she dealt with as little as possible. Despite her efforts to be solitary, several friendships formed between her and others in the city. She treasures these friendships dearly, but often falls back into her typical awkward graces when revisiting them after spending several moons travelling alone. Her lack of social knowledge presents itself most clearly when she is embarrassed, which is often enough that she has accepted the fact that her pale skin will feature the easy blushes that come to her most prominently.
Beneath the graceful professionalism contradicting her social awkwardness, Lieal remains a child at heart - she had little to no childhood in Ul'Dah, and still holds a large curiosity for the world. Strains of immature behavior - pouting, sulking, and unbridled excitement, for one - appear when her mask has been put down in the company of friends. In particular, Lieal has the stubbornness of a young child and typically requires either a very logical persuasion, or time for her to sort through her own arguments if one wishes to change her mind. Despite her strong will, she is not close-minded on most topics (she would be very skeptical if someone tried to convince her of the good Ul'Dah politics do, however) and is willing to alter her opinion as long as there is verifiable evidence behind it.
Having been taught by her mother (who served as a courier and merchant between the U tribe and Ul'Dah) to read, Lieal had very few books to actually get her hands on growing up and now enjoys making up for the time lost. Her composure typically drops the moment she has her nose buried in an interesting tome, and she is likely to walk into walls and other objects in her path due to her lapse in attention. Her appetite for books in insatiable and she would prefer nothing else than to be shut away in libraries for days at a time.
A flaw she considers within herself, but has never overcome, is the vanity with which she takes care of her appearance. Rarely one to express fuss at matted hair or dirty skin, both of which come with her job, she nevertheless tries her best to bathe and care for her appearance whenever possible. If a fragranted bath came alongside a library full of books, Lieal would be very stubborn indeed when asked to leave. Due to the frugality on which she and her mother lived on, she allows herself such luxuries only after much consideration (and internal grumbling about the pros and cons of spending her hard-earned gil).
