On April 28, 2016*, Locke Rinannis, age 27, was found dead in his repair shop in the Goblet. While tinkering with one of his prototypes, the device exploded, killing him instantly. His body was found that evening, and he was later cremated, his ashes spread over the northern Black Shroud from an airship that he built.

He is survived by his wife Lilithium, his stepson Khavan Nightwing, his stepdaughter Sarameda Silverlark, his 8-year adopted son Adokenai, his 2-year-old adopted son Mikh'a, and his 8-month-old daughter Elonwea, aka his 'little light'.

May he rest in the warmth and light of Azeyma's grace.

Among his belongings, a will was found:
"I declare that this is my last will and testament, should I depart from this world and into the next.
To Cyrus, all of my aether crystals and my kit for repairing firearms. And an orange. I wish I could stand beside you one last time, my friend.
To Romimo, my old journal from Oakbarrow. Also, Providence and Hope, my twin daggers. Keep my memories and know how much I love you and our home.
To Khavan, a lump of gil to continue pursuing your own path. Be ever strong and independent, just like your mother.
To Sarameda, a new violin. You will eventually wear out the old one, when your cure is found. Also, the teapot from my workshop. It helped me through many trying times.
To Adokenai, my Triple Triad cards. There are a few rare ones that I'd planned to give you for each birthday. Also, my wooden wedding ring, to wear when you discover the person you cannot live without, as I did.
To Mikh'a, the magitek bit named Olzeng, to be your lifelong companion. Also the mammet Bubby, to one day be taught the value of friendship.
To Elonwea, my books from Oakbarrow. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did when I was young. Also, my silver ring. It belonged to your grandfather. And finally, the soulstone in my nightstand, to comfort and protect you. May you cherish what little time we could share together, and may you always know how much you were dearly loved. Ellie. My little light. My hope.
To Lilithium, all that remains. My only wish is that I could have given you the world. There is a box hidden in the closet of my workshop. The key is in my satchel. I love you, my only. I am eternally yours. In life...and in death."

*Earth time, of course.

((Thank you, everyone.))
