Background

Originally born in Gridania, Raine left her home to pursue a life of adventure on the high seas. Serving for years under a captain who took her to teach her the ways of swordplay and magic, she eventually assembled her own crew and enjoyed many successes as a young captain, treasure and monster hunter. Her risk-taking caught up with her, leading to failures as dramatic as her victories, eventually causing her crew to leave her.
