L I K E S Information from the Sixth Astral Era No matter what information she comes across from this era, she is willing to take it all to improve not only her knowledge of the past but to retrace her final steps before she lost her memories. Food Living with little to no skills in her early years has made her appreciate a good meal when it comes around, especially when she finds herself without gil or in the middle of nowhere. Sea Blue Colour After taking up fishing to expand the range of food available to her, she quickly became fond of the colour of the sea as it allowed her to relax and forget her troubles, often making her go into a day-dream like state. Warm Baths Without a place to stay in her early years, she has grown to appreciate the opportunity and warmth of a good bath instead of the cold rivers and lakes she’s use to. Although she is in better conditions than before, she still finds herself far from her home and often ends up living in a similar fashion than before. Promises and Pacts Due to her taking every word to heart, she will often go out of her way to make sure things go right. So when you ask for something from her, she will take that as an act of trust and may ask for a similar favour in the future. D I S L I K E S Dishonesty Although it won’t immediately occur to her that this has happened, she hates it when people directly lie to her face, speaks poorly behind her back and even breaks their promises. Upsetting friends Unintentionally upsetting someone she trusts makes her exceptionally emotional, making her overly apologetic and tries to rectify the issue like a child trying to get out of trouble. Royalty and the Rich Though deemed trivial to most, she can't seem to live down the embarrassment and cruelty she suffered from those with power and money on their side. It comes to no surprise she views everyone who are or works with them just as cruel as they are. Alcohol She is a lightweight. Any and all barriers she has built over time comes crashing down quicker than she would have liked. She can’t help being blunt and truthful during this phase. Cold environments She simply can’t stand being in the cold, locking up sooner than most adventures. She will make every move to either avoid or prepare for the cold. Sand She can’t stand getting sand into her ears, as it is one of her unharmed senses she can still use and is particularly sensitive to outside influences. Crowds or large groups Able to last a few minutes in a crowd, it would soon become apparent that she cannot feel safe within a group of people she can’t read the movements to. As such she would often try to isolate herself the moment she feels pressured or overwhelmed. Being alone At the same time, she hates being alone. Although she finds herself isolating herself often and moving from place to place without company, she does love the company of others. If they are trusted. H O B B I E S Fishing She loves the tranquil experience and the calm movements of the water before the eventual heart racing catch of her next meal. Exploration Thanks to her scavenging for food and water during her early years, she has grown fond of the sights around her and the secrets that hide behind them. Aether Examination / Manipulation She has taken more of a hands-on approach in trying to find her memories as well as improving her medical and conjure knowledge. The ability to help the people around her seems to make her happy enough to forget her own troubles. She is also looking into how aetherytes work, or at the very least understand them enough to get around to places in a case of emergency. S T R E N G T H S Kind Hearted She takes everything to heart and will often try to treat everyone as friendly as they can. As such she can be quick to trust those who treat her in a similar way. Quick Learner To learn is to survive. Unable to see one’s own mistakes while in the wild can be the difference between life or death. As such she is usually keen to learn about a new person, monster or place when the opportunity arises Adaptable Conjure To gain the trust of others and protection from outside threats, she had taken up the spiritual and nurturing ways of a conjure. With a light hope that it would help regain her memories early on. Now it’s a good way to avoid some unnecessary scrapes with the wildlife and some emergency healing when needed, all the while allowing her to travel and spot oddities among the environment. W E A K N E S S E S Forgetfulness When ever she gets into a daydream like state or when she goes to move to another location, she tends to forget something. Be it information or some personal belonging. In more rare cases, she may forget a memory or two of her past, which often sets off a panic attack. Innocent and Emotional She tends to believe what people say about themselves and tends to miss several jokes and attempts to be flirted too. However, those that do get through makes her blush heavily and stammer usually unable to think of a response. Whenever she believes she has upset someone she cares about, she enters a deadlock situation when she continuously apologises and will refuse to move from where she stands. This is easily spottable when her ears refuse to lift or twitch from their drooped position. Physically Weak Due to her taking a rather back support approach to most things and being caught out in her early years that has resulted in more than a several lifelong injuries has put her in an odd position. She struggles to carry her own weight. Lack of Education Everything she knows and can do is all self-taught or has been rushed through the basics by the Twin-Adder. As such new material tends to be taken in slower than most and her writing is often unreadable. M O T I V A T I O N S Prideful Stubbornness To be Written :3 . Working for Two She is not by herself. Although her life would improve by leaps and bounds if she just used her skills for herself, she can't help but look after a stray coeurl that wondered into her life and has stuck by her since then. Often forcing Lu to resort to some form of small sweet or flavoured water to bring him back to her. He loves the attention of his companion, the gifts she gives him and the warmth she provides during cold nights. He allows others to see him only when he’s forced to follow Lu as she travelled around Ezorea or when he becomes comfortable enough to show himself around the stranger she talks to. Not much is known about his past. All he knows is that someone was willing to feed him, watching as this person was unable to feed themselves. He follows Lu as he worries about her health, trying to bring her small edible gifts to keep her going through out her travels, happy that the large odd yellow stranger no longer takes them before he could get them to his companion. Character's Thoughts: "N/A" First person she interacted with shortly after returning to gridania. Though this miqo’te appeared to be overly flirty at first, he soon adopted a caring personality the moment he realised her situation. Filling the gaps in her knowledge while he briefly rested in preparation of moving further north with his shy sister to avoid a conflict between the two clans that were using her to boost relations with each other. Although they had a semi-confusing relationship, and his sister was confusing to be around. He was the first to crack the hardened shell Luruin had built around herself and would often make her feel special. Though it became quickly clear that his sister had the complete opposite feeling towards her and seemed overly jealous whenever her brother’s attention was on someone else. Kestrel (★,●) [ex-PC] - Aether Astronomer. Character's Thoughts: "N/A" Intelligent yet fairly patronizing, She made a rather heavy first impression after engaging in a somewhat intelligent conversation about the stars. After she was offered to share some of her own knowledge with her in an attempt to advance her understanding. It quickly dawned on her that this person may be a handful to deal with down the road. Lara (♦,✔) [ex-PC] - Bodyguard. Character's Thoughts: "N/A" An odd encounter that turned out to be a blessing in disguise. While escorting Elysia as a hired bodyguard, they met by chance as Lu struggled to feel comfortable among the hot springs in Bronze lake. While her employer became preoccupied in private matters, She pulled Lu to one side to ease her stay, admitting several things and plans to her before having to leave. Over time, Lu learned that although she was in a profession she strongly disagreed with, she was a good person and would often go out of her way to boost her confidence and make her feel happy with herself. In turn Lu would dedicate her free time in making sure her friend is ok and would find ways to further her goal of living peacefully. Elysia (♦,✔) [ex-PC] - Hotbath Owner. Character's Thoughts: " ." A somewhat childish Miqo’te who would find any reason to dodge responsibility and float day to day. However, when things take a turn her personality shifts into a carful and calculating nightmare, often taking charge to solve the issue before them. Her childish nature allowed Luruin to forget the troubles of her daily life and act a little motherly to her, even going as far as spoil her in her choices. Camilla ($,♦,✔) [ex-PC] - Hostess / Escort. Character's Thoughts: "N/A" Calm, Intelligent and always planning ahead. She likes to keep to her own pace while treating her clients and friends, often not shying away from an opportunity when it presents itself. They met through a slightly rocky encounter where she accidentally prevented Lu from catching her next meal by snagging the fishing line with her dress on a moonlit night walk through Costa del sol’s vast beaches, almost pulling them both into the water. Their relationship briefly worsened after Lu found out that she worked with the royals and the rich, but soon forgiven her after realising her true intentions over a simple meal within the Red Rooster Stable. In the following months from their encounter, she begun to find ways to build a stable career without compromising on her current skills. Eventually deciding to open a hotel to the rich and those who wants to be treated like royalty. Although Lu wanted nothing to do with it, the offer to trade in some of the goods she catches for some spending money was an offer she could not refuse. However after a few weeks, Lu realised she was unable to get into contact with her. Shortly before the hotel itself was closed. Being unable to track her movements, Lu is forced to wonder what exactly happened and what she is doing now. Kuina (★,✔) [PC?] - Head Security at Hotel. Character's Thoughts: " ." Accommodating and a rare sight during a late-night visit to a public tavern. This Au’ra loved to take a little bit of time out from her job as the head of security to chat with the customers. Often poking a little deeper into the topic to get to the juicy information without giving away much about themselves. They were the very reason Luruin became interested in Doma and one of the few people who had the patience to listen to her quite rambles. Natsuki (★,�) [PC?] - Unknown. Character's Thoughts: " N/A" Well-spoken but overly honest, it became quickly clear that she lived with a multiple-personality disorder that not only skewed her memories beyond repair but damages existing ones. This Au’ra likes to jot down everything and ask questions to the point where she could dig out a person’s darkest secrets and fears without realising. It was the first-time meeting someone in a similar situation and ended up feeling guilty after responding poorly to her unquestioning motivation, for they have the same goal. Though agreeing to help her regain her memories and provide a place to stay, she has yet to meet her again and often wonders what ever became of the ghost that wondered just as quickly into her life.
