===Pre-F.E.D arc===

Nah Amariyo is the sole daughter born to R'vehn Tia and Cemi Amariyo. She was born with dominantly Keeper traits. They resided in Gridania, running a small shop that dealt with various sundries. The couple raised their daughter not by Gridanian standards, nor by Keeper nor Seeker methods neither. Cemi belonged to a certain conglomerate of various families spanning various races that upholds a certain balance in Eorzea by way of instigating or committing criminal and illegal acts. No details about the conglomerate are available, unfortunately. R'vehn himself, as a sign of his love(? bought as a slave?) and submission to his wife, adhered to the Keeper methodology and allowed(? was coerced?) her to name their daughter Nah Amariyo rather than some tribal Seeker name. Despite that he still took it upon himself to raise his daughter to be as resourceful as most Seekers while his wife(? lord and goddess?) went about doing what it was she did under the cover of the shadows. Nah's mother was largely absent in her life and her father was a less than spineless coward whenever she was around.

Still, growing up, Nah helped her father run the shop. She was in charge of receiving people and fetching the smaller things off the lower shelves and generally being a little girl. Her father, despite being a less than spineless coward, had a good business sense being sold from bidder to bidder and have...things done to him. Things he would never mention to Nah whenever she asked stories about his life. As far as Nah was concerned her father was a powerful Nunh, whatever the hell a Nunh was. From him, she learned much about sums and differences as well as some basic writing and reading, especially when she grew older and was big enough to really help around the shop. He managed the inventory and most of the manual labor, she was in charge of book keeping as well as manning the counter. It always puzzled Nah how her father can really put his foot down and stand his ground but when it came to mother he was completely at her mercy.

Her mother was a complete enigma through most of her early childhood. Sometimes her mother would be gone for weeks at a time and then come back looking a little more weary than when she left. For the most part, Nah tried to do what she can to cheer her mother up but her brooding switch must have been locked at 'on' for every waking moment of her life. It was like her mother was carrying something she refused to share with anyone else. Her father had suggested Nah to leave her mother alone, she reluctantly did so mainly because daddy said so.

The lifestyle went on for a while. Nah, herself being completely dedicated to running the shop and helping out whenever and wherever she could. Her father continued teaching her and her mother continued coming back more and more weary. That is until her 21st summer when her mother called a 'family meeting.' Nah was puzzled as to what this could mean, while her father knew it was time for the three of them to have 'that talk.' The talk that Cemi notified R'vehn about. It was that time to say goodbye to his daughter for a long while and pray that maybe, just maybe she won't turn out like her mother. That somehow what he taught her and how he raised her weighed more than what Cemi would command.

The talk in itself was short and held in the master bedroom located above "Amariyousities!" the sundries shop in question that their family owned. There Cemi laid bare her expectations of Nah, she presented Nah a small weathered black book, THE Black Book. In it outlined various guidelines, tips, lessons on how to be an antagonist, a veritable villain in her own right, just like mother dearest. Alongside that was a weathered sword her mother bade her take up then she was to meet with one of her associates where she would be brought to Ul'dah. Nah perceived this as a chance to finally get close to her mother who largely kept her distance and eagerly accepted the task set on her. Though the parting words were very ominous but it only puzzled the bright eyed Nah.

'If you fail, something will happen to the people you love.'

Which was strange because she never really got close with anyone except her father and daddy always said that a married couple loves each other no matter what and nothing will change that. There was absolutely no way mom meant to hurt dad. It wasn't possible right?

===The First Evil Deed Arc(On going)===

The caravan ride to Ul'dah was largely uneventful. Nah made her way to Ul'dah and took in the sights, the endless gold and brown of the city and Thanalan in its entirety. One of citizens noted how she looked like a tourist that brandished a sword and was assumed to be a fresh adventurer. She was sent straight to the Quicksand to orient herself on being an adventurer, even registered and everything. The basics were explained to her, go here, go there, do this, do that, then go out into Thanalan and prove herself to the desert. In any case it was all a little too much to take in and she barely remembered everything but somehow she managed to sign on with the Gladiators' Guild and receive actual training with her sword as well as how to use it in tandem with a shield.

As she wandered the Steps of Nald, Nah bumped into someone and made them drop their belongings which ended up shattered and spilled straight onto the floor. Toxins they were or so the woman said. The interesting thing was that this woman was blind or so Nah noticed. The eyes were very cloudy and they didn't seem to be focusing on any one thing. It was the perfect first evil deed. Steal the coinpouch of a blind woman. Except Nah herself missed that oh so vulnerable and dangling coinpurse and was promptly scared off by the woman when she was asked her name and she answer and then the woman in question got mad for some reason. Maybe she wasn't blind? Nah didn't stick around to find out and ran as fast as she could away from the scene.

Through some of her mother's connections, after making a name for herself in Ul'dah or at least proving herself a bit in Ul'dah, Nah was granted airship access that had her access Limsa Lominsa and Gridania at her leisure, not to mention the Gold Saucer where some of her mother's associates based themselves in. There was much profit in learning how the gambling hall worked. Though despite all those pretty destinations open to her, Nah made it a point to go back home and check on dad and the shop. She did just that and caught up with her father in the days she was gone and recounted her first and botched Evil deed. She resolved that it won't be her first Evil deed if she couldn't successfully pull it off. Her father for the most part, talked more about how the shop was busier ever since she left. Nah herself didn't want to tax the (not really) old man and offered to help however she could.

So she was sent to gather a few things in the Central Shroud he could fabricate into more things they could sell or trade with. In the Shroud she found a rather lost individual who apparently lived in the cave near Lifemend Stump. He had lost something, a satchel. Once again Nah found another opportunity to do her first Evil deed. The man, Tajih Binbotaj, was also holding a book. She could easily swipe the book and the satchel from Taji if and when they found it. Instead when the opportunity to steal the book came, her fingers were shaking and unable to pull through. On the one hand she wanted to please her mother, but on the other hand her father always told her these things shouldn't be done. In the end they returned to his 'home' where he was chased out of by Woodwailers where they waited out the rain and searched Lifemend Stump for the satchel.

That was supposed to be the plan except the endless rain lulled her to sleep and somehow she woke up in the Roost in the Carline Canopy. Somehow, she had this inkling feeling Taji brought her there. Which sort of just made her feel worse that she tried to steal his book.
