History

• Born and raised in Halfstone, this Miqo'te lived most of her life in La Noscea with her parents. Learning the trade of fishing off of her father, she has grown to adore it as a way of making a living, as well as putting food on the table.
• In between all this, she learned her way around the docks of Limsa Lominsa already as a teen-ager, quick to adapt the use of short knives in the use of fending off pesky pirates when she ran off on her own, as well as a useful tool to keep along for her profession.
• One of the last things that the miqo'te found herself to enjoy, was one of her father's hobbies in using pistols to fire at targets, having won minor competitions throughout the years he decided to teach his daughter when she showed an interest, even though her mother was of quite the opposite opinion in whether this the right thing to do, thus as a compromise she was made to practice her mother's trade of hunting with a bow alongside being taught how to fashion arrows, poison and mixing powder for use as charges in pistols.

• It's not all that many years ago that Nainakai was forcefully put on a path of her own when Halfstone was drowned in a tidal wave, the young miqo'te not yet an adult saw her village and many of those she had grown up with wash away, including her parents. She had been told by her father to run for higher ground without being told exactly why, thus escaped the watery doom, witnessing it from afar.

• Since then, the young miqo'te has made it on her own in the world, partly through taking up her father's trade, as well as pilfering pockets* of people she deemed too wealthy, but only if they had gained this through illicit means.

Personality

• Generally happy and carefree, she is rarely seen without a smile on her face, white fangs bared to an alluring smirk quite often.

• She may come off as energetic despite her habit of spending a lot of time doing nothing.

• Somewhat insecure around people she does not know, she is still quick to open up to someone once she gets to know them, one could say she's trusting to a fault, this has some times come back at her in a right bad manner, but it has not changed her attitude.

• She is not entirely certain of how to show that she cares for someone properly, and may act strangely when approached about it.

• Woe to anyone that manages to tick this miqo'te off, as she'll come at you with a vengeance and rarely backs down before she or the victim of her flurry of claw and fang lays broken on the ground. Luckily she's not known to have a short fuse, often choosing to walk away from things and people that annoy her.
