Ashen skinned, slender and tightly muscled, this wandering Bard is considered quite the exotic dandy by many. His features are sharp and his body seems to be home to quite a few scars, the most noticeable one being a scar across his right eye, having turned the eye a grayish white as opposed to the cold blue of his left.

When performing, he tends to be fond of bright colours for his clothes and commonly wears high boots, bracelets, necklaces and other jewelry that typically makes loud noise upon his approach, the jewelry jangling and the boots loudly echoing upon the floor. However, at times they seem to not make a single sound, suggesting they are likely to be enchanted to be loud or silent at his discretion. Another staple item he seems to be know for is his wide-brimmed hat, plumed with a giant axe beak feather and usually resting atop his long dark blue hair.

One of his most practiced moves when introducing himself is to remove his hat and sweep into a low exaggerated bow, giving the targeted audience a good view of the multitude of scars on his usually bare torso, as if to remind them that while he seems like a jovial and easy going fellow, he is not to be underestimated.

Phae’ra could be considered to be many things, but he is firstmost an opportunist. Over the last five years, his wealth has grown to a considerable amount, something rather unexpected when considering his current lifestyle. Phae’ra learned from an early age that the best way for an outsider to survive and prosper in a harsh society is by being outside the system and too valuable to be eliminated. He was audacious enough to take his life in that direction, from his first task as an agent of the empire to the wandering bard he is now.

Generally calm and composed, yet ever expecting the unexpected , Phae’ra enjoys flaunting his independence as a Bard and is proud of the fact that the noble often come to him for his services. Phae’ra tends to deliberately cultivate an air of mystery about himself, keeping his actions unpredictable so that even his closest friends are often kept off-balance and guessing as to his next move or motives. He learned from his days as an Assassin that predictability allows individuals to study a potential opponent, note their apparent strengths and weaknesses, and plan accordingly; thus, unpredictability is the greatest asset, as others are forced to improvise, rather than plan ahead, when dealing with him.

Since taking on the mantle of the Bard, Phae’ra seems to have educated himself extensively, as he appears to be knowledgeable about a vast variety of subjects. Unusual among Miqo’te, who are typically tribal and view tradition as more important then anything other races could offer.

Combat

Although Phae’ra is a formidable fighter, possessing skills in hand to hand combat, bladed weapons and is a rather good aim with a bow, he always prefers to accomplish his goals without fighting whenever possible. Phae’ra is always willing to engage in a deal that is beneficial to both sides. Granted he has been known to double-cross his partners, although that is often because they were planning to double-cross him first. Phae’ra understands that information is power, especially in the current state of the world., where schemes and intrigue run rampant.
