It was from his resentment of his daughter that her father, Molten Heart, named the blood-covered newborn Red Beast. Not long after this, he left home to continue his mercenary ways, unwilling to raise the child that took his beloved from him. Instead, Red grew up in the care of her parents' friends within the village and lived with a local smith.

The battle left her with a characteristic scar on her left eye.
