Adopted into a disgraced noble family of mixed Hyur origin, Remus was raised on principles of sheer spite and hatred. Far to the north of Limsa Lominsa, nestled in some of the higher mountainous peaks, the young Miqo'te thrived under the instruction of his vindictive parents.

After 21 years of warped and twisted growth, Remus has finally been granted the right to embark down his own path, paved in the direction of reestablishing prominence to his exiled family, and exacting vengeance upon those who wronged House Graye.

General

Appearance

Remus has, to say the least, a distinctive exterior. Completely devoid of colour, a testament to years of suffering dark experimentation by his adoptive parents, it is a common remark that he seems to absorb the very light around him. The young Miqo'te is relatively lean, with a chiseled, muscular build, standing rather tall for his age. A short, wiry tail protrudes from his backside, a volcanic tone of grey, seldom seen to move when not pushed by the wind.

Nothing even reminiscent of a genuine smile would ever be found lurking on his smooth face. He is by no means hideous; defined, yet alluring features are prevalent at first glance, all shaded a deep charcoal, developing something of a permanently resentful frown. Without the disconcerting aura about the man, he might even be considered quite handsome to many. Traditional Miqo'te markings are still present, framing a pair of deep, ashen eyes, known to glitter like a flickering flame when emotion begins to creep into his mind. His long, silky, dark hair has distinct streaks of white intertwined throughout, and is always kept tidy in a windswept fashion. Whilst he clearly isn't concerned with his appearance, his clothing is always immaculately prim, perhaps as a result of the etiquette instilled upon him as a member of a noble family. It would be a rare sight indeed to find Remus unkempt.

It is important to note that while Remus is a vessel for the contempt of his adoptive parents, he still retains his own thoughts.

Family

Ethias Graye - Adoptive Father - A partially insane elderly nobleman, his mind blemished by the suffering of his house. He never came to terms with the failure of his planned rise to prominence in Ishgard, and remained bitter ever since.

Penelope Graye - Adoptive Mother - Much the same as her husband, Penelope was haunted by crushed dreams of high nobility. Deformed by her constant dabbling into dark magic, she lives on only to see those responsible for the fall of her family tortured and slaughtered.

Oberon Graye (Deceased) - Adoptive Brother - Best friend and the legitimate son of Ethias and Penelope, just a few months younger than Remus. He was slain by Remus' own hand, on the instruction of his adoptive parents, to test loyalty and resolve.

Unidentified Miqo'te Couple (Deceased) - Mother and Father - Killed before Remus' very eyes by the flames that destroyed his entire birth family.

Unidentified Miqo'te - Possible Sister - Remus overheard the potential for him to have a blood related sister, whose remains were never confirmed in the ashes of his family home; he did not pursue the claim any further.
