In an unfortunate reaction Chaz killed the Sprite, burning it into bone and ashes. He was saddened at what he had done. He knew that the ever loving sprites meant no harm to anyone. Grieved and in pain he started to feel very tired, barely making out the vision of the cavernous maw. Chaz had become cursed, a murderer in the eyes of Altana. He pushed on to return to his present time hoping to escape the treachery of what he has done. Chaz enters the maw and becomes banished… He never returns home, never seen again in Vana Diel. … He hears the dark voices again but they are much different, more personal. In the darkness he sees a light. It speaks to him… Hear… Feel… Think… |
