A devotee of Nophica eager to spread word of Her compassion and love for living things; also a trader / middleman for Greatloom Growery and amateur herbalist.

Appearance

A dusky-skinned elezen, dark of hair and gaze; his appearance is pleasant but unremarkable, his stature somewhat small for his towering kind, and his age seemingly between twenty to thirty summers.

History

A handful of Gridanians may remember a silent knight in blackened armour helping to rescue survivors, aid the living, and bury the dead, immediately after the Calamity. Fewer yet would be able to confidently map the blurry memory of a stranger's face to one of the few outsiders who have thrown themselves into helping rebuild Gridania and the Twelveswood over the past few years.

RP hooks

Theology - when not championing Nophica's doctrine, Sui is keen to learn about other deities, rituals, beliefs and superstitions.

Business - can arrange to supply you with produce or herbs or seedlings, although his stock may sometimes seem infuriatingly limited by whatever he decides Nophica has decreed.

Helping - will shelter strays, donate coin or food or medicine, and provide a sympathetic ear if needed, for "we are all brothers and sisters under Nophica".

Death - for someone devoted to the goddess of life, Sui may prove surprisingly keen on discussions or events entailing death and its mysteries.

Notes

Sui would probably talk to people for work or out of concern for their welfare or Nophica than anything else! He is an amiable but guarded character who will listen but only speak if he feels he can meaningfully contribute. Ishgardians may find him especially wary until he feels he can trust them, for backstory reasons.

Sui travels a lot and is likely to join or assist any groups that do charity work, worship Nophica, or practice medicine / healing.
