First impressions
- A dusky-skinned Wildwood, dark of hair and gaze; his face is pleasant but unremarkable, his stature somewhat small for his towering kind, and his age closer to thirty than twenty summers.
- Often dressed plainly, as a gatherer or trader, he carries no visible weapon, and easily fades into the background in a crowd.
Nophica's Advocate
- Earnestly devoted to Nophica, Sui is always eager to spread the word of Her love for all living things, whether his audience is disposed to listen or not.
- When not evangelizing, he works for the Botanist’s Guild, explores the Shroud and lands beyond in search of testaments to miracles or phenomena attributed to Nophica, and hovers around Stillglade Fane pestering the Hearers with questions about the elementals and the Twelve.
- Though dedicated to the goddess of life, he is equally fascinated by the concept of death, and may have been banned from the Alchemists’ Guild and Erralig’s Burial Chamber for not returning borrowed literature and/or bothering the staff one too many times.
Reputation and rumours
- Colleagues and townsfolk may vouch for his personal and professional integrity and good credit, but will find little else to say. Effusive though his praise for Nophica, he is reticient about his own affairs, and especially aloof around Ishgardians.
- A very few Gridanians might remember him showing up during the Calamity: a knight in black armour, swordless and shieldless, helping to rescue survivors and bury the dead. In the five years since he has become a regular face in the city, and now hardly draws a second glance.
- Mother Miounne recalls registering him as an adventurer and how long he took to write down his name, as if trying to think of a good one.
OOC
- Former servant of a minor House in Coerthas. It is unlikely anyone would remember him from those days; House Heliox had little to its name, and the fall of one more noble family from grace by accusations of heresy is likely to have gone unnoticed or forgotten.
- Owner of a dark knight’s soul crystal, not kept on his person.
