Toma Ko "Think lightly of yourself, and deeply of the World." Toma Ko, an adopted Borlaaq raised by his father, the Hyur Mitoma Ko, was found amid the rolling lengths of the Othardian Steppes. When his fathers palanquin came within earshot of the crying infant, Lord Mitoma Ko, having lost his wife and only child during birth, felt that perhaps the boy had been delivered unto him, and took the child as his own before the tribe of the Iriq could find and claim him. The heir now to a Hyur family of noble samurai and merchants, Toma is the source of much frustration for his uncles and cousins, who all feel he has no place as the heir to the family, and should be removed with prejudice. Trained by his aging retainer Kondo Tsurmo, Toma defends his claim as the heir by the sword, and wit.

Toma's skin is a deep indigo from head to toe, even his scales seem to have carried the same trait down to his snake like tail. He is a tall, limber figure, not overly muscular or strong, it is clear he is healthy but not overly built like some Xaela, especially those from the tribes and clans of the Othardian Steppe. He has lived a life of a noble, away from the battlefield. Every move of his features come with an accompanying glint of pearlescent scale, as the thick horns and small protrusions catch light and reflect back a myriad of colors from the right angles.
Clothing ❧
Tomaa wears a large yukata wrapped around his torso, a display of several cloths and patterns, draped in layers and held in place by a simple sash around his stomach. Underneath, a simple soft wrapping of cotton, from mid thigh to the base of his sternum, allowing some breath to the outfit. His head is kept free, where his hair falls about his face when not pulled back into a draping pony tail, held high on his head with a soft wrapping, his horns free of anything but a few dangling charms. His feet, often hand be found atop wooden geta, with low risers as he already feels too tall around his family. Lastly, tucked into his sash, lay Kiba, his sword. A gift from his teacher and retainer, Kondo Tsurmo.

Toma has a mid-range, masculine voice, even when whispering, there seems to be a reverberation that carries it.
Habits ❧
Toma has a habit of smoking moko grass from his long stemmed wooden pipe to relax. He is often seen eating fruit, in particular, he has a love of plums and grapes. More often than not, his hands a book or novel of some sort, enjoying legends and folk tales the most. When annoyed, he tends to glare and make small, short comments, dancing on the line of insult. Not much offsets the samurai, but when something does, he becomes short spoken and quiet, trying to ensure he makes the correct, calculated decision in phrase.
