Appearance & Personality

W’kijoh is a short, tiny, and otherwise teeny little Miqo’te. She is every definition of the word short, and her features match. Sporting a short and standard tail, along with an underdeveloped chest, she is often considered more of a young man rather than a woman. The only defining feature she naturally carries is her bright sanguine eyes and her doll-white skin, should anyone ever see either. She is almost always sulking about in a heavy cloak that hides her face.

As W’kijoh is a rather plain and unremarkable looking woman, she has taken to decorating nearly her entire body with piercings. Her ears alone carry twelve assorted hoop, tooth, and fang earrings. The earrings sway and chime together during any sort of movement. If she is not wearing her cloak, the ringing sounds almost create a sort of thematic entrance when she speaks with someone. Her lips are decorated with hoops and studs, her nose the same, and even her eyebrows are not free of metals. Sometimes a strange clicking can be heard from her mouth. This is caused by her running a tongue ring across the back end of her teeth, and she often does this during periods of thought.

Due to the lifestyle of a young girl turned pirate, she has an absolutely rotten sense of vocabulary, horrible attitude, and is generally not the nicest person to hang around. She will take nearly everything as a slight. While she used to quickly start a fight after slighted, certain changes to her have stopped this behavior. She tends to seek out others who show some form of interest in her. While it's unknown why she begins to hunt down others who show interest, she really just plays it off as being lonely.

In reality, W'kijoh's body has died due to a blood curse and her soul now resides in a amulet around her neck.

Technically a soulkin by definition, she seeks ways to power the amulet so she can allow her body to live again.

As the amulet is created with Blood Thaumaturgy, targets that consider her a friend will quickly have their lips or fingers pricked so she can draw their blood.

Once she supplies the amulet with blood, usually by drinking it, her body will become active again. In this way she can resume a somewhat normal life.

Although the above makes her seem like a strange sort of woman, she is not an evil being. She will fight for the greater good if required, and will even put aside perceived insults in these cases. She was originally a thief and is sometimes seen giving gil to the poor. Of course she hides this behind an aggravated mask, but she truly wishes for those she helps to have a life better than what they have.

While W’kijoh tends to seem rather dull, she is not at all stupid. She can understand more complex situations, read, and write. She is not trained properly in writing, so she often has consistency issues with her penmanship. Of course, who needs consistency when half of your writing is swears?

She found it impossible to say no to the Seeker captain, and soon found herself not only a member of her crew, but in love as well. Things between the two progressed quickly, and yet Ky'ara was all W'kijoh could have wished for. She doesn't know if she'll always be with the woman, but for now it is blissful and happy. ● Miir Raj'ar : A powerful fighter whom W'kijoh instantly picked a fist fight with. Once great friends and intimate lovers, they now rarely see one another. Miir had promised to help W'kijoh with her necklace and issues surrounding it, yet never followed through... W'kijoh's opinion never dimmed, but her depression of her situation grew ever worse. ● Tristan Beringer : Her once closest friend, ally, and captain. They grew to be friends after an accident with their ship, and had stuck together since. Still, in recent times his linkpearl had been silent, and W'kijoh assumes his death has occured or he has moved onto new and better things. ● Nazeru Auronas : W'kijoh's reception of Nazeru is...curious. She would normally be quite fond of the woman, yet she cannot bring herself to allow friendship with Nazeru's previous relationship with Ky'ara. Still, she has promised to assist W'kijoh with her pendant, and no matter the case of failure or success, W'kijoh plans to hold the woman to her word. Death threats, of course, were certainly made should failure occur. ● Rhela Molkot : Once W'kijoh's best friend, now possibly her least favorite woman in Eorzea. For some reason, Rhela's presence bothered W'kijoh something fierce, yet now it boils her blood. She once promised to assist W'kijoh with her necklace, and yet the situation changed ever so slightly to W'kijoh threatening to kill the woman. However, help will still be offered regardless of W'kijoh's hostility, possibly regardless of if W'kijoh wants it or not. ● Sly (W'majha Shikhu) : A Seeker woman W'kijoh met in Ul'dah after just arriving. Once, Sly and W'kijoh shared intimacy, but it suddenly vanished one sun. After some time had passed, W'kijoh spied Sly with another woman and it hurt her greatly. While she had never attempted to take Sly's hand in relationship, she found the issue to be overbearing and now avoids the woman at all costs. ♥● Sasha Rochester : A woman who abandoned her. She was searching for her constantly, and had finally seen her after two whole cycles of constant activity. Now with the hunt over, she finds little need to talk to Sasha. Revenge wouldn't be proper, so she thought to herself.
