Zentalas is a Dark Knight of Ishgard. One of the few Duskwight families to come to live in the city. His family rose to nobility by their prowess on the battlefield. Quick to anger, Zentalas is a formidable swordsman and has a reputation for being particularly brutal to his enemies.

Appearance & Personality

Zentalas is a tall, muscular Elezan with ashen skin with a very slight purple hue. He has various scars of differing sizes and depths all around his body from a lifetime of training and combat. His snow white hair is long past his shoulders and he usually wears it tied back in a pony tail. In his armor he is an imposing sight because of his height.The armor itself is a black plate, fairly common for a Dark Knight. Braided in a cord around his left shoulder is a trophy string of Dragon teeth.

Zentalas is a cold, calculating Elezen. he has a very pragmatic outlook. He is extremely selfish and will only do anything if it furthers his own ends. He cares for very little in this world. he feels that open displays of love or affection is weakness and something his enemies can exploit. Only in private will he ever display love or compassion. He is fully obsessed with being the best wielder of the Dark Sword the realm has ever seen. He will face any foe or hardship to prove that he is the best.

Biography

Many generations back the family name was Dormond. the title Val'Drakon was gifted to Zen's family by the Arch Bishop for their valor in fighting the dragon threat. In some all but lost tongue it means dragon slayer.

Childhood

Zentalas was born the 3rd son of Drahmin and Laidri Val'Drakon. From the time he could walk Zentalas was trained in the Dark Sword by his father. he endured harsh punishments due to the training. he was schooled in warfare and had tutors to educate him. he grew up in the city of Ishgard and received the education of all Ishgardian noble children, learning how to read and write and an education in science, art, music and mathematics, in addition to his Dark Sword training.
