Nalerius rem Skyra, or presently known as
Nalerius Scarletton was a former imperial military officer during his time served in the Garlean Empire. Now a security consultant, Nalerius travels throughout Eorzea to repent for his former sins, and aid any individuals in need. He adopted the surname Scarletton during his time traveling in Eorzea after being taken in by the Scarletton family, whom he spent several years in secret before venturing out in Eorzea once more.
Born into the fourth generation of pureblood Garlean after his predecessor has finally succeeded within the assimilation into Garlemald, the young Nalerius was raised under the tutelage and ways of nobility. His mother, Lady Sondra nan Skyra taught him the ways of self composure and diplomacy, while his father taught him into the ways of swordsmanship and politics. When he reached the age of 15, Nalerius was groomed and ready to wed his partner -- an Elezen Garlean from another line of nobility by the name of Ophilia Glimelelle, a daughter of a wealthy lines of tradesmen.
All was well for the young Nalerius, as he was exposed into the enlistment of the military by the age of 16. A prodigal lad, he advanced himself into the rank of Centurion within a year, commanding his own century for the invasion of Eorzea, he was a patriot to his own Empire ever since the indoctrination during his youth. And within the next year, he became a Pilus Prior, commanding his own front century of each cohort. Nalerius was well loved by his own men and peers, as he exercise discipline, but yet compassion to his men. He lives among them in battle, and as well as their resting place. He learned how to sing among his time spending with his men. However, all were to change during the Battle of Carteneau.
During the Battle of Carteneau, Nalerius was transferred to the Imperial Intelligence department to aid the VIIth Legion from the airships of the XIVth Legion, thus being promoted to the rank of Primus Ordinarius. He aided the intelligence to overseer the ongoing battle upon the airship, as seeing his old friends from the VIIth Legion being slaughtered by the Alliance. To make matter worse, when he caught the glimpse of the total mayhem that brought down by Dalamud: the Wyrmking, Bahamut. Then he came to realization of the countless of lives, Eorzean and Garlean all alike that perished under the scorching flames of the dragon. At that certain moment, Nalerius realized the wrongdoings of the Garlean Empire -- although he believed previously about Dalamud to bring down the primals. In the many years to come, Nalerius deserted the Imperial Army, thus journeyed discretely to Eorzea in order to repent for his sins.
