Personality
|
A product of the simple, peaceful life of her clan, Kharaa is ordinary in her native sense. Curious, naive and sometimes a tad childish, she is easily impressionable and mostly just wishes to learn the ways of the new land she is in by physically exploring it and taking in whatever she sees and learns. The girl is quick to learn, playful and can sometimes be easily frustrated when things don’t click straight away… which they often don’t when you don’t understand anything going on around you because Eorzea is a strange place. Despite her sometimes stubborn tendencies, she is even-hearted and bold (see: naive), trying to appear collected in the face of danger if only so people do not look down on her. Mentally she is a tad stunted, as she is the only surviving child as her parents and thus was coddled and sheltered, and because of this she not only has a tendency to do what she likes (expecting no punishment!) but she also has incredible bouts of childishness and brattiness-- but do not mistake this for stupidity. A life in the Steppes has made the young one hardy, adept at climbing, gathering, swimming, breath holding, parkour, trekking, hunting, tracking, and more. She possesses a great memory and can prove to be a nifty fighter, even if her clan would prefer her to bolt in the face of trouble. Easy to get along with and easily amused/pleased, she is a cheerful companion to have around. Unless you wish to stay out of trouble. Trouble is her middle name after all.
Speaking of trouble, she will get into trouble whenever she has the chance to. The downside of having overwhelming curiosity means that you are likely to get into stupid situations often; very often if you are Kharaa. With an excited glance she will exclaim shes off to do something that might seem perhaps strange that rubs against the grain of societies normal rules. Imagination is a powerful thing! You can pretend to be a thief by actually being one! The way actual society works is so different to her clans ways that she finds amusement in even the silliest things, such as using money or ... even being clothed all the time. It is a good thing she has family to keep her from scarpering off on a one girl adventure constantly.
