Sexuality: Bisexual, but strongly favors females, in a way.

-Pugilist: Her most skilled profession. Had been taught the basics by her guardian, Sightless Sunrise, and self taught herself throughout her journey.

-Lancer: Had an interest in the class after realizing that her mother was originally a lancer herself.

-Conjurer: Normally, Chi would not care for the magic disciples, but after realizing the usefulness of the skills of conjuration, she became intrigued in the class as well.

Appearance

-Skin: Naturally Tan

-Eyes: Brown

-Hair: Short, but spiky, red.

-Build: Athletic and wiry, usually in top shape

-Height: 5'8

-Tail: Medium-long (but often wiped around her waist while she's active)

Family

Adopted and raised by Hellsguards most of her life. Her real parents died when she was around the age of 3. Her father fell ill before she was even born while her mother died in battle when fighting the Garlean Empire.

-V'ebaloh Hoshi (deceased): The mother of Chiyo Hoshi and a solider. She tragically died during a surprised attack by the Garlean Empire.

-G'sazhi Tia (deceased): The father of Chiyo Hoshi and a nobleman. His life ended my a fatal disease.

-Sightless Sunrise: A roegadyn monk that adopted Chi just before her mother died. She mostly learned her fighting skills from him. He was a strict, but caring mentor that made Chiyo who she is today.

-Starry Laurel: The sister of Sightless and one of Chiyo's guardians. She was a marauder that educated Chi and taught her a little bit about crafting to a certain extent.

Quirks:

-Training: Chiyo trains and exorcize at least a half-hour a day in hopes of becoming on of, if not strongest. She hopes to use her strength to achieve great challenges and serve others. Chi also enjoys 'sparring' with others.

-Food: She enjoys eating different kinds of foods, and gets hungry fairly often. On occasion, she has the tendency to 'pig out,' but due to her good metablism as while as the fact that she exorcizes a lot, she won't get fat as easily.

-Curiosity: Chi is fairly open-minded and often has a willingness to learn.

Weaknesses:

-Careless: She can sometimes get overconfident and end up in situations that are too great for her alone. She also isn't as elegant outside of fighting.

-Somewhat less knowledgeable: As much as her guardians had taught her, they weren't able to teach her as much as she could if she'd had gone to school.

Likes: Hunting, sparring, food (she really likes to eat), parties, riding chocobos.

Dislikes: Being provoked, cowardliness, easy challenges, having her tail pulled.

Combat

While Chiyo had never fought in a major war before, she is an experienced marital artist. She is capable of going toe-to-toe with some opponents almost twice her size, sometimes even larger. She is also capable of lifting her own weight, or heavier if she tries hard enough. Still, there are many things she has yet to learn and challenges to overcome. Magically, she is also inexperienced. She only just started to learn conjuration.

Background History

V'ebaloh Hoshi had her duties as an Eorzean solider to protect her home, and as a mother to protect her daughter. Nearly two months after the birthday of C'sonjha Hoshi, she requested that her Roegadyn friend, Sightless Sunrise, would take care of her for the time being just before her next mission. It was later that V'ebaloh Hoshi was confirmed 'killed in action,' by a surprised Garlean attack.

Ever since, Sightless had raised the young Miqo'te with the help of his sister, Starry Laurel, changing her name to Chiyo Hoshi.

Throughout her childhood, Sightless and Starry had taught Chi the ways of fighting and hunting. At first, it was difficult for her. Her guardians were strict and sometimes even harsh with her. At the time, Chiyo was somewhat of a cry-baby and often wished to be with her real parents. But Sightless intended for her to be strong. Eventually, he told her the tragic truth about her mother's demise, which slowly drove Chiyo to be more determined. She was mostly trained in the ways of the pugilist. Sightless was a monk while Starry was a warrior.

Chiyo had significantly less eduction than usual, barely at a middle school level. Outside of physical training, she was taught basic crafting and socialized with few friends. Chiyo was mostly home-schooled by Starry though it was slightly less significant than that of her training. As she progressed, her guardians became more outgoing in her pre-teen and teen years, allowing her a more 'carefree' personality.

At around the age of 18, Chiyo had set off on her own in hopes of furthering her training and see how strong she can get, and perhaps one day, avenge her mother.
