He enjoys a good time and believes that one should live their lives to the fullest. He doesn't seem bothered to aid those that are in need as long as he feels that it won't get in the way of his duties. He is an avid explorer of the land, often assisting those less fortunate he comes across. He offers proper funeral services for recently deceased out of good will and as a part of his duty as a Thaumaturge. His duties have led him to a religious belief, to the house of the god 'Nald'thul'. While using the black magic only occasionally (And only when he is very much required to), he will try to keep the balance between life and death intact as much as he can; when he has to tap into this magic, he can stay in honor of his god. When it reaches this state, he will then don his black mage garbs to hide most of his identity to the public and enter a serious demeanor until the issue is resolved. He will steer clear of populated areas with these garbs on to protect not only himself but those around him as well. For a Midlander Hyur, it makes him rather short, however, remains taller than even the tallest of Miqo'te women. He is slim but muscular, his brown skin often covered in robes of different colors. His eyes the shade of a dark amber, his enchanting smile drawing attention away from diagonal scars on both of his cheeks. He carries multiple items of value on his person. He always carries a worn out tome filled with alchemical recipes, rituals and rites. This book once belonged to his father, which he passed to Emanuel after before his passing. The father and son both filled the pages with words upon words, handwriting within the book dramatically changing. C O M B A T Emanuel is a Thaumaturge trained in the ways of destruction. He is an offensive fighter, keeping a barrage of magical attacks and techniques to give himself the upper hand. During his fights, he likes to alternate between full powered attacks powered by his emotions and weaker attacks when he is calm, allowing his Aethereal magic reserve recuperate. Although his forte is an offensive caster, he never forget about his defense; using the elements and sometimes his Aether into protective shields. When faced with a dire situation, he taps into the forbidden arts of black magic, engaging the unnatural while trying to upkeep the balance between life and death. His magic dramatically increases as he taps into these forbidden techniques, tapping into the land itself while removing his inner Aethereal limit. A year after Emanuel's birth his mother passed away, leaving his father to take care of him. The death changed something within Gregor, leading him to study Thaumaturgy and learning the proper burial techniques. During Gregor's travels, he obtained a soul crystal; the catalyst that pushed him down the road leading him to black magic. He overheard rumors about a beast tribes having knowledge on black magic and decided to seek them out. He kept a self-written book, describing everything he has experienced as a Thaumaturge, his ideology and discoveries which he passed down to his son, along with other books he had in his possession. Emanuel shared many pleasant moments with his father, leaving him with memories after Gregor's passing. He left a last will behind with the grandmaster of the Order, instructing them to pass his library to his only son, Emanuel, as well as to take him in and raise as own within the Order.   Gwen Mercer ( ♥ ✖ ) - Mother Emanuel's mother, Gwen and her husband, Gregor, moved to Ul'dah, leaving their war-torn lands far behind. Gwen passed a year after Emanuel's birth, leaving him to learn everything he now knows from his beloved father.   Master Wilfrid ( ● ✔ ) - Mentor UNDER CONSTRUCTION   Chokie ( ♥ ) - Chocobo Chokie is a Chocobo Emanuel has raised since it was a hatchling. He is very fond of his Chocobo, often treating him as a real friend instead of a pet. Chokie sometimes gets his owner in trouble, eating food people have left lying around unattended.
