There was a time when Theodore was a warm, and kindred spirit. Much warmer than he was now. He used to be like a big ball of energy, always laughing and smiling and burning with a passionate energy that was infectious to those around him. He was like a child in the body of a young man, yet held a sort of mysterious wisdom and maturity that was far beyond his years. He used to be friendly to those he found a liking in, and showed compassion to those much less fortunate than himself. He was one who made it a point to help those in need, no matter how big, or small the task was asked of him. And when the lives of the weak were threatened by those of the strong, he would be there to stand as their sword and shield, burning with a fire that screamed, "Hear me, evildoer! For I shall vanquish thee in the name of good!" In the past, one would look at Theodore and say, "That young man there, is a hero!" However, those days are gone. The bright, warm young man had now become cold and cynical, often now cursing the world around him more than praising it. Where once, he would welcome strangers with open arms, he now treated them with silence and abrasion, caution and mistrust. It were as though that bold and beating heart had now turned to stone and caged itself in thorns, the sure sigh that something had happened to make the Mi'Qote this way. As it stands, unless someone spends the time and the effort to crack through the dark shell encasing him, Theodore feels there is no reason to trust anyone.. to let them inside. To see the pain and weakness which he painstakingly bottles up every waking second of the days going by.

A P P E A R A N C E

Standing at nearly six fulms tall, weighing in at one-hundred & thirty-five ponze, Theodore is actually slightly shorter than most average males of his race. The Mi'Qote do not measure up to an Elezen, mind you, but even for them, he is on the shorter end of the spectrum. His skin was once a warm, perhaps even delicious tone of cream colour, now stained as white as the pale moon which hangs in the sky; eyes of opposite colour, left and right. The right eye, a brilliant blue as bright as the sky, yet deep as the ocean, and the left, a mesmerizing pink like the sky in a blazing sunset, yet gentle as a peach blossom. His hair was once a fiery blonde, almost as gold as the sun; now a bluish-white like ice and snow, full, plump lips a light blue. Despite these wondrous features, he is more often than not seen wearing a hardened expression upon his face, telling stories of woe and heartache, anger and hatred with naught but suffering hidden behind those strange, yet lovely eyes. A pair of x-shaped scars mark his right cheek and left jawline, obvious wounds from battles, and eternal memories of the mistakes he has made during his time. It is more often than not, that he is seen donned head-to-toe in his armor as a Dark Knight, though, he does have a sense of personal fashion about him. He often prefers simple, yet elegant clothing over the more extravagant things, preferring a simple coatee and matching slacks, often taking on the occupation as a butler for the House that has taken charge over him when he is not out on the fields.

Stargazing. Despite his cold exterior, even Theodore is capable of appreciating the sight of the stars in the night sky. It is typically something he finds he can do to take his mind off of things, however temporary that may be..
Song and Dance. Old habits tend to die hard, especially when one can become as intoxicated with good people, good music, and a nice dance, whether it be slow, or energetic..
Crafts. During his time, Theodore made special efforts to learn as many different crafts as possible, thus, becoming a Jack-of-All-Trades. Though, as the saying goes, he's not quite a master of them, but he's still pretty damn good at them..
Spring. The Spring is his favorite season of the year. The warm, yet cool temperatures. The abundance of green, and the beautiful, vibrant flowers of all varieties.
Happiness of Others. He's not one to admit it these days, but he does care about other people. So much so, that he would sooner risk his life to help them attain happiness over his own.
Romance. Another thing that he is unwilling to admit, but Theodore has a soft spot for romance, whether it be novels, or the sight of a couple enjoying their time together. However, this often leads him to feel jealous, and reminds him of the solitude which he cannot escape from.
Men. A wish that he feels he can never have come true; To eventually settle down and have a man in his life whom he could call his, and who would love him despite his blood-stained past. Alas, even this form of happiness is not one he feels he deserves.

Ignorance. Anyone with a brain can claim that they're intelligent. But when one uses said intelligence as an excuse to demean others, that's practically asking for a tongue-lashing from Theodore himself..
The Wealthy. Experience in Ul'Dah has taught Theodore that those with power through coin are often not ones to be trusted, no matter how much you may think they are on your side. The ones with wealth who look down on those in poverty are especially marked on his shit list.
Incompetence. Theodore has very little patience for those who cannot perform the duties they were tasked with. This is especially true for whenever he goes dungeoneering. It only makes his job that much harder..
White Knights. Oh, how he loathes these type of people whenever he comes across them. It only reminds him of his own naivete in the past, and he can't help but feel contempt for anyone who claims that they're in the right in such a manner.
The Holy See. Ishgard's military might being comprised of the characters that it is sickens Theodore straight to his stomach with no end. In his mind, they are naught but a bunch of bumbling idiots droning on and on about "Holy Order" this and "Sacred Traditions" that, when in reality, they are nothing more but cowards seated on a high horse looking down on the rest of the world when they're hardly any better off. Not to mention, that he is usually the prime target for gossip and harassment whenever he has to walk the streets to get around, no matter what time of the day it is.

Sunflowers. Those who manage to get close enough to Theodore will find the subtle, yet distinct scent of sunflowers permeating from him. For what reason, though, has yet to be discovered.
Cat-like Tendencies. Wiggle a Cat's Tail in front of him, and he'll start to play at it like any regular cat would. Wave something akin to cat-nip in front of him, he starts to experience a high and yearns for more. Give him fish, and he'll eat it up like no tomorrow..
Androgynous. Despite the fact that he is indeed male, Theodore has been told time and again, that he has a rather feminine build for his size, which sometimes tends to make people forget that he is in a fact, a Dark Knight. Ishgardians, however, simply claim that he is committing another form of heresy, on top of partaking in the Dark Arts.
