Helios Daima Gardenia   CHARACTER DESCRIPTION Helios Daima appears quite young despite the wisdom in his eyes and the collected, tranquil nature that emanates from him most of the time. His frame is very slight, waifish and he moves with a practiced air of a sense of purpose. White hair frames his pale face, and eyes of a washed-out sort of faint blue hold in polite secret anything he may be thinking. By no means a man of tall stature, he is relatively short even for a Midlander of his apparent age, which lends itself to his pointedly youthful appearance. When one can happen to glimpse an emotion from him beyond that of calm, it is usually nuances of fatigue. A Hearer and Conjurer of the Twelveswood, he serves the Twin Adders and his home of Gridania with a great passion in his heart and holds immense fondness for both flora and fauna alike. Despite his undying loyalty to his nation, he is very outspoken when the matter of overcoming prejudice and discrimination toward other nations arises. He supports the cooperation and friendship between the members of the Eorzean Alliance and those who have yet to call themselves a part of it (see: Ala Mhigo's refugees). In accordance with this belief, Helios is the head of the relief organization The Olive Branch, which maintains the acquisition and delivery of aid supplies for both the needy in Ishgard and Thanalan. Their company headquarters can be located within the Lavender Beds, first ward.
