PREFACE

CEDRICK HIGHWIND is a no-nonsense and rather caustic Highlander, uncaring for most people and their problems, their insecurities or anything really. That does not mean he won't lend an ear or help them out in their time of need; just that the only people he really cares about are his friends. He suffers from depression, and feels like a failure most of the time for running away from Ala Mhigo during it's most crucial moment, though he believes he made it up by being there to help liberate it.

DEMEANOR
Morita prefers to be in the company of close friends. He's certainly temperamental and harsh, but tries to be approachable nonetheless. He may seem distant at first when you meet him, and that's because he is, but he'll eventually open up and joke around with people. Fiercely loyal and just a slight bit possessive, he'll do anything to help his friends in their time of need.

QUIRKS
Morita has the bad habit of biting his lips when he's nervous, as well as having his eye twitch when stressed or mad. Standard-fare, really.

INTELLIGENCE
Never did he get an opportunity to acquire a higher education, having to flee Ala Mhigo and being whisked away to Ishgard. While in Ishgard, however, the Dragoon Corps made sure to give him an education befitting his new status. The man became a scholar, interested in botany and the different beings and voidsents of Hydaelyn. What's more, he's an expert on Dravanians and their culture.

A P P E A R A N C E

FIRST IMPRESSION

Morita is a tall, and very square hyur male with a rather muscular form. He's got a deep tanned colour to his skin, not unlike the colour of creamed coffee. His face is robust and angular. Morita has a slight downturn to his crooked nose and rather thin, yet full lips. His eyes have a certain kindness and warmth to them. His hair is, while always having a nice sheen to it, untidy and usually kept in a rushed side-part. It's shown to be a deep crimson hue but appears almost black during night time. He usually has a fully adult, grown nutkin either riding on his shoulder or fluttering about around his person.

SCARS & MARKINGS
Morita doesn't much care for scars on his skin, making no effort to prevent or hide them. He's got a number of scars running down his face, and his body is littered in both superficial scars, and deeper, hypertrophic scars as well as arrow scars, however no burn scars of any sort are present below his neckline.

GARMENTS
Caring little for fashion or his appearance, Morita wears light clothing during most of the year, opting for thicker clothes only when travelling in and about Ishgard. While on a mission, or on-duty, he's seen wearing the newest Dragoon uniform made available, while still making sure to have ease of movements in his joint areas. He prefers greener colours and the colours that go with it; gilded accessories and brown leathers.

N P C Felix Highwind (✖ / ♥ / ♥) ( NPC ) - Father He's always had the best relationship with his father, up until the Garleans invaded Ala Mhigo, where he was forced to flee towards Gridania, his parents choosing to stay behind to guide people to safety. He's presumed dead. Emily Highwind (✖ / ♥ / ♥) ( NPC ) - Mother The same goes with his mother. She would have loved nothing more than to go with Cedrick, but she couldn't. She knew her boy could take care of himself, so she chose to stay behind as well. Presumed dead. Amelia Highwind (♥ / ♥) ( NPC ) - Younger Sister By the Twelve, Cedrick is the most protective brother ever. He fled Gyr Abania together with his sister, and he's had to raise her ever since. She came out decent, a kind young lass working hard. She loves her brother just as much as he loves her, and he makes sure to visit at least once per week. Stellato Debesis (✔ / ♥) ( NPC ) - Sister-in-Arms It was a particularly cold night in Ishgard as they met. He didn't particularly like nor care for the Warrior clad in blue, but they soon grew on eachother thanks to fighting dragons together. This Cerulean Warrior saved his lives more often than he can count, and her mercenary band 'Orion Crew' is now a sister company to his Dragoon platoon. P C Fiore Brunelli (? / ♦) - His Relentless Pursuer During his training as a Dragoon, he was dispatched towards Doma as they had asked for help; a dragon was terrorising the Azim Steppes. He developed some feelings for her, but as he's as dense as a rock he hasn't quite realised it yet.
