Ala Mhigo (Circa between the Garlean occupation and the night Dalamud fell)

Krys'a worked as a street performer and performed slight of hand style "magic tricks" to distract crowds in Ala Mhigo while his companions moved through the crowd stealing what they could from Garleans and Garlean supporters.

He was a member of the resistance, having lived in a resistance cell that was located under a brothel in a poor area in Ala Mhigo. The cell was lead by Krys'a's adoptive father, Syffrid Greywolfe, and Syff's brother Nymandus. The same day Dalamud fell from the sky, Garlean forces stormed the cell's headquarters and killed or captured many of the resistance fighters - driving the rest into hiding. Syffrid spent the next couple of years in hiding with Krys'a as Krys'a recovered, then the two of them headed for Eorzea in search of Syffrid's adopted daughter Talyn.

Those who might have seen Krys'a in Ala Mhigo would have seen a very quiet miqo'te that was used to getting his ears and tail hurt, so avoided everyone (particularly Nymandus), but knew how to draw attention when he needed to. Krys'a worked most often as a distraction on the streets or in taverns, performing acrobatics and parlor magic tricks to draw the attention of crowds (and guards) while others of the resistance cell moved unseen through the crowd or into nearby buildings or rooms.

The Garleans in Ala Mhigo have placed a rather sizeable bounty on Krys'a's head. Not only for past crimes and actions as a resistance fighter and suspected assassin of high ranking officials, but because they are certain that, if he is caught, he can identify many other resistance fighters.

Ul'Dah (Start of ARR)

Krys'a is most easily recognized as having been seen moving through the refugee camps, or down back alleyways such as Pearl Lane, giving things to the refugees - who seem to like the miqo'te and will talk with him as if he were one of them. -- [players of refugees would know that he trades in information of interest to the Ala Mhigan resistance and gives out gil, food, medicine, information, and other needed items - no matter if the refugee has anything to tell him or not.]

Krys'a can sometimes be seen going into or out of the Alchemists' guild. Those who have insider information of some sort could find out he is getting medicine for his father.

Gold Saucer (Since start of Heavensward)

When at the Gold Saucer, Krys'a is often seen with an elderly Highlander (his father, Syffrid Greywolfe) around the Triad Tables or sitting at the cafes.

Limsa Lominsa (Since around 2015 to present day)

Krys'a has a small house in the Mist (Ward 7 plot 11). He is often out around Mist or in Lower La Noscea, near the Grey Fleet, doing training with his revolver or knives or either going for a morning run. He can be found early in the morning (before sunrise) running to the beach where he spends about an hour floating in the water before running back home as the first light of dawn touches the sky.

Maelstrom (Since around 2015 to present day)

Krys'a is a private in the Maelstrom serving in the 1st Squadron, 9th Levy under Commander Sylbfohc Ostulmsyn. Although he joined to be part of the infantry, he has skills that have left him spending much of his time decoding Imperial communications or sorting through records and documents in the Coral Tower's records and archive rooms.

During the liberation of Ala Mhigo, Krys worked behind the scenes with the Maelstrom signal corps. Decoding Imperial messages and tracking enemy movements while helping to speed up and improve Maelstrom communication techniques during the campaign. Following the liberation of his homeland he returned to Limsa Lominsa to continue his Maelstrom service.

Family History ((This is strictly for OOC information, none of this is known by anyone other than Krys.)) Krys'a was adopted as a small kit by Syffrid, He was named for two prostitutes at the brothel Syffrid frequented and given 'a (first son) not because he was the eldest son, but because he was Syffrid's first (and only) adopted miqo'te son. Krys has no idea where he is from or who his real family was or how he came to be raised by a highlander in Ala Mhigo. (I'm open to RP on this, but prefer only those seeking long term RP, since Krys is planned to still be a RPed character when this game ends.)

Basic Combat Info

Utilizing both formal training through instruction and hard earned skill born of back alley brawls, Krys'a uses a variety of fighting styles that change as the situation calls for. A true Rogue when in combat, Krys'a does not worry about how the fight is executed and will make use of any skill he can draw on - even if some might consider a few of his tactics to be dirty. In practice matches, when his life is not on the line, he is a much fairer fighter.

Fight training includes both back alley brawls and Maelstrom training.

Krys'a is a devout follower of Rhalgr and will sometimes call upon The Destroyer when fighting.

If you play an evil or mercenary type and want a target send me a /tell. ● [Garleans pay note here!] Krys'a is wanted by the Garlean Empire for crimes against Garlemald, including suspected involvement in the assassination of several high ranking military officers in Ala Mhigo and knowledge of the identity and possible locations of multiple Ala Mhigan resistance fighters and sympathizers. Please do not abuse this OOC information, but if your character is a Garlean Soldier, or bounty hunter of some kind, that would know about this tidbit you are welcome to use it however you desire. I will RP along with anything shy of my own character dying (I do rather like him after all). Just be warned - Krys has connections to others who might come looking for him if he were to disappear. ● Krys'a was raised by an Ala Mhigan in Ala Mhigo, he has little knowledge of his past or family or of Keepers in general, so if any Miqo'te players would like to interact with Krys'a or have some connection to his past, feel free to contact me.
