A P P E A R A N C E

At a first look, Noirin would appear like a very pale and tiny Midlander Hyur. However at better look, she shows signs of a different race, including slightly pointy ears. Her hair is soft, of a platinum blond shade, and collected in braids and a bun, to quickly and easily fit in her coif and not being in the way. Light blue eyes, cold as ice.

Weapons of choice: A one hand sword, and shield. Her gloves are knuckled so that she can keep fighting even should her weapons break. Magic skills: protective barriers she can cast upon herself and others. Basic use of the bow, used only in training or for hunting. Very basic knowledge of some Astrologian's theory, aside from the barriers, she hangs out with an Astrologian who sometimes teaches her some trick and gift her interesting books.

Her outfit consists mainly in her full armor, a long hard leather coat with fortified shoulders and sewed-in hidden steel plaques, knuckled gloves, helmet, fortified boots.

When off duty or not wearing her armor, she can be seen in comfy clothes or wearing simple but warm dresses.

-- HER ROOM --

Noirin is renting a small room in an old building in Ishgard. The building is mostly filled with military and medium wealth citizens. The building is strongly hit by the freezing wind at all times, windows and roof appear always frozen. Her room is at the very top of the building. As you enter her room, strong smell of old wood and fireplace prevails. A smartly placed fire crystal keeps a small fire going all day, maintaining the room mildly heated up, as it would otherwise freeze.

On the right, a big table with a map and a couple of old but comfy chairs, show how she often spends nights studying war strategies. Nearby, a small table where she usually eats. A bowl of slightly burned honey cookies (a recipe she invented) gives out a subtle scent of honey and the idea she isn't great at baking. On the left, an old oven for cooking, a sink and her pantry, always filled with some food or ingredients for her cooking experiments. In her pantry you will often find:

Partitions are separating the room in two parts, the fireplace is placed in between to keep the whole room heated.
Behind the partitions, a small shower corner, a bed, and her desk for study.
Piles of old, worn books, and cooking recipes written on pieces of paper can be found a bit everywhere in the room.


The room is simple, clean and mostly tidy, besides some dust and books. Except from cooking ingredients, it is clear that she doesn't own much nor she is interested in it.

- The past - Noirin mainly grew up in a caretaking school for busy nobles. Her teachers, all Elezen, were extremely severe and hard with her, often mistreating her, sending her to stand in a corner, hitting her hands or buttocks with a wand or a ruler, punishing and humiliating her in front of her schoolmates, because she is a "bastard". Unlikely most "bastards", Noirin wasn't dumped on the road, as her mother loves her (and her father, but she wouldn't admit that) deeply. Noirin joined the Scholasticate when she was very young, but she felt that was not her way. After rebelling and being pretty much kicked out despite all the pledge between the Scolasticate and the Dzemael. Noirin expressed her wish to follow her father's path, and joined the military service. - Her family - Her mother, Elaine Dzemael, is a noble Elezen woman who once made the mistake to feel lust for a muscular charming Hyur knight. Noirin's father, Marc Meagher, is a professional war strategist, once employed as a knight in Ishgard. After the Dragonsong War ended, he decided to leave the city and offer his services somewhere else. - Noirin is growing - While Noirin mainly made it into the military force mainly thanks to her family word, she always showed herself for being a great addition. She is brave and a selfless altruist when at work, and she always completes her task even better than what is expected her to do. Noirin is deeply (probably too much) devoted to the Fury, and goes to the church regularly, especially to confess. During these years, the priest who listened to Noirin's confession, ended up lusting for her and wanting her for himself. He would, from time to time, send her gifts and speak to her superiors to help her obtaining some favors or special task. - Her promotion- Noirin is ambitious and painfully, stubbornly made her way up to the current Captain rank. However, her direct superior dislikes her deeply and mocked her by assigning her a "specially selected" squadron of losers. Noirin and her squadron are usually sent to take care of the most humiliating or useless duties. Her squadron is formed by: Sanson, a slightly fat Hyur who was mostly sent to the military by his wife (In the hope he would lose weight). Sanson has good will, but he hides to eat candies and sandwiches and maintain his rounded shape. He gets tired before the others and in his previous squadron, he would always end up being left behind. Emilie, a tiny Hyur woman. While she is incredibly quick and she would probably be a great scout or rogue, she can barely lift her sword. Marceau, an Elezen of noble heritage who was forced into the military by his parents, as he would otherwise spend all his day sitting on his butt or flirting with the maids. He doesn't like to get his hands dirty, unless it involves a woman. Bernard, a shy Hyur who is scared pretty much about everything, probably even his shadow. No one knows why he joined the military or how he made it through. Florian, an Elezen, he was discarded from all his previous squadrons for being extremely grumpy and rude to everyone. Noirin was not disheartened and she is working hard to help her squadron members improving, trying to give each one of them tasks which fit their strengths. ❝ Noirin faceclaim ❞ » ————————— ›⚔❆⚔‹ ————————— « - PRESENT - » ————————— ›⚔❆⚔‹ ————————— « Noirin spends most of her days on duty. She is usually sent to take care of the most humiliating, boring or useless tasks, such as clean up the Brume, take care of the drunkards fighting at the Forgotten Knight, stand guard in some outpost in the middle of nothing. When she is not on duty, she likes to socialize with people in Ishgard, study, reading, training, or pay visit to her friends, mainly an Astrologian student. She sometimes helps the homeless and poor, by bringing them food, warm drinks, blankets and clothes. She loves to cook but she is not gifted at it. Sometimes, she brings cookies and muffins to her squadron, and they get all dumped to Sanson because he is the only one who can eat them. Usually, her products are burned or taste bad as she forgets to add sugar, puts too much salt, or includes odd ingredients.
