When Vauthry seized power thirty years ago and declared Eulmore’s transformation into the city it is now, Aurora resigned with many likeminded comrades to continue the fight as vigilantes. Yet without official support, their ranks gradually dwindled due to battle, corruption, and old age. She took in and raised the orphaned child of a fallen comrade, living among the Derelicts beneath the opulent city she had once sworn to defend. ● In a desperate battle, the child was struck and transformed into a sin eater. Aurora was forced to end his life herself, but in the process became tainted by the same corruption. ● Determined to fight until her last breath, she traveled to the Crystarium and took on dangerous missions, attempting to die on the battlefield against sin-eaters like her comrades, instead of waiting for a slow death at the Inn. There, she was unexpectedly saved time and time again by another adventurer, Mulberry, whose admiration for her became affection. They grew close while Aurora's conditions continued to deteriorate. Eventually, sensing that her corruption had progressed to an advanced stage, she ask Mulberry to end her life before the Light claimed her completely. ● Should Mulberry fail to deliver the final blow, Aurora’s tale ends as so many others of that age: with her rebirth as a sin eater, her will extinguished by the light she once defied. OOC ● The character was first created because I wanted to explore the MANY years before Vauthry when Eulmore was actively fighting the sin-eaters, the Oracles of Light who had died before Minfilia's rebirth in Ryne, and all the people who did not live to see the arrival of the player or the nightsky. ● She chose Aurora as her name to represent her longing to see the sunless sea - with eternal daylight, it was probably impossible for anyone to see the aurora in the First. ● I chose Forgiven "Greed" as her sin-eater title since at the end of her life she did have strong desires, and she really wanted to live a longer life with her loved ones. ● She dies a few years before Shadowbringers. ● My friend just wanted a lesbian collab yet I hit her with pain and suffering... ● Wiki made by D'lyhhia Lhuil.
