The mage who bought Null had been dabbling in black magic, researching heavily on the void and the creatures who live there. The mage fed the boys lies, raising him to believe he was normal. Null is uneducated, sheltered, and quite a peculiar person due to being treated as an object for majority of his life without even realizing it. With his owner getting more involved with the illegal world of Ul'dah, and building up an empire to help his research that will help him accomplish everything he is after, there hasn't been much time for Null. The mage has begun to leave Null alone for weeks at a time, and his belonging has grown lonely.
