Yasashii is of Borlaaq birth; though at a young age; she wandered off from her tribe. She was not found by a tribesmen; but Doman travelers, due to the local rumors of the Borlaaq tribe being around the parts they assumed she was of the Borlaaq tribe; giving her their tribe's name as her surname. Yasashii was brought back to Doma, and was trained to become a Kunoichi. A skill she excelled at. At the age of seventeen, Yasashii was married, and had a daughter(Heiwa) with a man named Kumo. when the Garleans invaded, and conquered Doma, Yasashii witnessed in horror as she watched her husband Kumo die to the Empire's legionaires. She had to forcfully close her daughter's mouth to prevent the two to join the brutal murder. After seeing her husband die; she stowed away a fleeing boat to escape the carnage. The boat landed in the port of Thanalan's Vesper Bay. From there she set off to Ul'dah, to attempt to rebuild her life. A futile attempt it would seem, for being a refugee, she was ignored and seen to be filth, even when she begged for food for her young daughter, she was unfortunately ignored; in a desperate attempt, she disobeyed her master's teachings of doing the art of the Shinobi for crime. and stole food, gil, and all that to keep, and ensure her daughter's life to be safe.
