Astrid Greywolfe was born in the cold Gyr Abanyan mountain area. She left Gyr Abanya recently after Ala Mhigo was liberated, looking to work as a Bounty hunter in a more profitable location. Strong, mostly positive character, but has her bad sides too, like everyone.

Astrid is a hothead and a firecracker, but she is also moved by good purpose. She is a strong, rough but charismatic character, tempered by the hard lifestyle in the mountains of Gyr Abania. Generally a bit hostile towards new acquaintances, she takes time to give trust. She however does like to make new friends, but believes that trust must be gained.

She is a skilled blacksmith and armorer, but she outshines in axe and fist fighting.

Astrid can read and write altho she is not too great at it, she can also sing, she has a beautiful voice although she usually sings by herself, or when she is drunk.

While she can brew, she is terrible at cooking food. Anything which requires more than simply be boiled or grilled, she would probably burn it to ashes. In Ala Mhigo they had stark food, and she was never taught the fine art of cooking, as usually grilling a steak and warming up some milk was more than enough.

- LIKES AND DISLIKES –

Astrid can hold a drink, she was probably already drinking mead as a cough medicine when she was a kid. She favours mead and strong ales when she can, otherwise she is fine with milk and spring water.

Her favourite food is red meat, popotos, eggs, mushrooms, bread, cheese, anything simple is good.

She believes her race should be preserved and yearns to meet another Highlander devoted to Rhalgr like her. She likes big, muscular and tough men and finds Elezen quite ridiculous and girly obviously, and while she tolerates their presence, she doesn’t like Twelveswood Elezen at all as she considers them stuck up at the least.

As a beginner in magical arts and only experienced in physical fights, she evaluates the strength of her opponent barely based on their size and the size of their weapon, unless they have a gun.

Even tho she is devoted to Rhalgr, she sees other people’s devotion towards different religions with an eye of respect. As her family was forbidden to worship Rhalgr, she came to a conclusion that everyone should be free to pursue their own beliefs, and she will be ready to fight for everyone’s freedom to do so.

Astrid believes in hard work, and when she is not hunting for bounties, she takes commissions as a blacksmith, armorer, brewer.

Astrid is approximately 37 years old, although her face looks a bit younger. She has ice cold clear eyes, some freckles, and some cute face features hidden under the dark warpaint. Long light blond hair, usually kept long and wild, with her sides shaved and the rest left loose and/or braided. She is relatively short for her race but she looks strong and muscular, clearly someone who trains a lot. Her skin is pale, her hands are hardened by the use of axe and blacksmith tools.

She favors leather, fur and chainmails but in warm areas she usually goes for something lighter, also because she hates hot weather. She forged her own knives and knuckles, while her axe was a gift from her family. It is extremely rare seeing her wearing girly clothes, and she mostly feels awkward in them.

While she is not much of a money-maker, she does like power and the power that comes from money.

❝ Right? ❞ ❝ Bear Lady & Bear ❞ - A bit of history - Astrid Greywolfe, got her name from her grandmother Ástríður and the last name being a simplified version of it. Astrid’s family was more or less secretly devoted to Rhalgr, and so is Astrid to nowadays. Astrid was born in ~1548 during King Thordan reign. Her family was NOT a supporter of the King, and they remained well hidden in their hostile mountain area. She spent most of her life living a rough, hard life in the mountains. Her father and her mother both specialized in the same activities she is doing nowadays (brewing, blacksmithing, armoring and axe fighting). Astrid was the last and only girl born, among her 4 brothers. She therefore grew up to be masculine, rough, and a bit of a tomboy. - PRESENT - More recently, Astrid decided that her old mountain house got a bit tight for her, and left the area to find fortune abroad. She dreams to kick the Garleans out of Ala Mhigo, and a long prosperous life with a good Ala Mhigan partner.
