Usually this small mage will be a cheerful fellow to be around. To make her constant smirk vanish, something grave would have to happen, be it strife in her close circle of friends or the loss of someone. If same friends get threatened or someone threatens her with physical harm, her demeanor will quickly change and her mind focused on inflicting harm in turn on the perpetrator, no matter if it is proportionate distribution or not.

Part of the rare 10% of Midlanders from Ala Mhigo, she is even short for one.

Megumin fashions her brown hair in a short cut. Her eyes are of a crimson color and evidently where most of her natural aether is stored as they can be seen glowing faintly while she is channeling her magic or when her state of mind is especially turbulent. Most of the time she wears a red jacket combined with halfgloves that show off her wedding ring, combined with spats and thighboots. She also has a habit of wearing odd accessories, be it a mask that covers half her face, goggles to 'protect her eyes from debris of the explosions she creates' or just big wizard hats.
