His almond shaped green eyes are clearly the heritage of the keeper part of his origin, while the tan skin would imply that he is used to being out in the sun without any drawbacks like a seeker. He keeps his hair somewhat short, if though it often appears messy with unruly strands of silky raven black standing in all directions. Clothing & Accessories: His clothing is often made of leather or light fabrics, sometimes showing some skin here and there, and sometimes decorated with fur and colored beads. He does not wear a whole lot of jewelry except of a pendant runestone and a couple rings pierced through his left ear. Distinguishing Features: An old scar runs from his forehead down over his nose. Besides this one there are more scars in different locations on his arms, legs and back, for which he can't remember how they came upon him. Some of them could be remnants from his travels and minor injuries, while others seem more severe. Hygiene & Odor: Tabbris showers daily and also enjoys long baths if he finds the time for them, always leaving a mild scent of soap and shampoo lingering about him that is only overshadowed by the many different fragrances and odors in his lab, which can range from herbs, alchol and chemicals over smoke and strong flowery scents. ... L I K E S ■ Watching People One of his favorite pastimes. He enjoys to observe as people go about their business, or listen in on conversations in public areas. ■ Alchemy & Herbs He always has a set of potions on his person and likes to make his own recipes. His knowledge of plants is decent as well and he like to surround himself with green also in his home. ■ Books One of the few things he considers acceptable to kill a tree for. He always carries his codex with him and often another book that he is actually reading in his pastime. ■ Tori His pet sparrow, which he tended to after finding it injured in his yard, and that now sometimes decides to follow him and occasionally sit on his shoulder. D I S L I K E S ■ Arrogance There is a difference between playful cockiness and sheer arrogance, and the latter has him walk off on people if they simply have not a single grain of modesty in them. ■ Invading Personal Space Even so he may violate this rule himself once in a while, he doesn't like his personal space invaded by strangers. Once past that barrier however, he is happy to receive hugs and the like. ■ ... ... ■ ... ... Q U I R K S ■ Oblivious Flirtation, innuendos and compliments generally go unheeded in the sense that he seems very unaffected,even joining in on the chatter, till he finally realizes that his counterpart actually means him. What was a calm and collected man till then turns into a blabbering flustered mess. ■ Great sense of orientation Having traveled a lot in his life so far, he developed a fairly good sense of orientation. Even if he was dropped off in the middle of nowehre, it is very likely that he somehow finds his way around. ■ Vegetarian... sort of Besides fish he won't touch any meat. If this is solely because of his respect for animals or also a distaste for the flavor is unknown. ■ Talks to Animals If someone finds him riding a chocobo, they can expect him to have a healthy conversation with the horsebird, but also otherwise he tends to speak to all kinds of pets or animals as if they were people. HISTORY Everything that lies farther back than five years is a mystery to Tabbris, but may yet one day return to him. (In case this ever happens, this part will be updated accordingly) RECENT PAST Roughly five years ago Tabbris woke up in a small apartment surrounded by impressions, scents and objects that held no memories for him at all... yet deep down he somehow knew that this was his 'home' and the place he belonged. A letter that had been placed next to him, and which later turned out to have been written by himself, was the only thing giving him at least some faint clues as to who he was beside remembering only his name Tabbris Zarall. His first incentive was to turn the apartment upside down, trying to find a hint as to what happened or at the very least trigger a memory, to no avail. As weeks passed he found himself drawn to what he believed may have been his former profession, alchemy - and settled on using his expertise, which seemed to return to him naturally, to experiment in hopes of finding a way to restore his fragmented mind. To this day his research has not brought him any closer to this goal. However, more and more of his talents and interests, such as an affinity for healing magic and knowledge about runes and herbs, came back to him before the first year passed. Today, a bit more than five years later, Tabbris has more or less accepted that whatever lies in his past will more than likely remain a mystery to him. Though, even so he claims to be at peace with himself and the fact that after so much time it is highly unlikely for his memories to return, he has not entirely given up on his research. Ever since the little bird decided to make his home near Tabbris' house and follows him around or sits on his shoulder occasionally.
