P E R S O N A L I T Y

Unpredictable, eccentric, energetic, obsessive are all words many would use to describe Vihqa. She seems to have boundless levels of energy and a brain that doesn't ever sleep or rest and while many have simply brushed off her enthusiastic mannerisms when the little Miqo'te wants to be heard she shall make herself known.

The cheery and eager side of Vihqa can quite easily melt into a more 'excited' state when her interest is caught. Whether it be people, monsters or other creatures, magitek or dusty old tomes that haven't been opened in 800 years Vih wants to know exactly how all of them work and what secrets they hold. In this state of interest she can become somewhat difficult to tolerate, forgetting any manners she knows and boldly going after whatever it is that has caught her eye. She can seem almost child-like in her enjoyment of even the strangest things (like examining and/or dissecting a monster corpse...or people one for that matter) and it often makes others wary of her indulgences; questioning her enjoyment in such unsightly things..though not all of her hobbies are quite as scary.
Where Vihqa lacks in social graces with other people she makes up for it in her strength of determination to gather and share new knowledge, though whether her reasons are selfish or more for 'the greater good' no one is really sure. The blunt (and sometimes insensitive) attitude she wields can be tricky to work with, as well as her sheer stubbornness. She's been known to unintentionally lead people on with flirtations or through a misinterpretation of her eager and friendly behaviour, though she doesn't seek to hurt others. If you can tolerate her odd quirks and ideas (and sometimes lewd teasing of friends and companions) Vih makes for a loyal and dedicated worker as well as friend.

Lavender colored hair with dark tips, often worn tied and tucked to the side with various kinds of flowers in it. Length is mid back.
Lynx ears (lacking the tufted tips) and a short, slightly curled/fluffy bob tail.
Tear drop shaped tattoo in the center of her forehead, three teardrops on both shoulders/base of her tail and a black peony tattoo between her shoulderblades.
Eyes are sky blue and large. "Bright eyed."
Pierced ears and septum. Small beauty mark under left corner of her mouth.

T R I V I A

■ Vih is generally a social gal who enjoys meeting new people but dislikes crowds or cramped rooms.

■ She is very presice and meticulous about her work spaces. Needing them to be completely clean and tidy else she gets very fidgety.

■ This goes for personal hygiene as well and she is always very well kept and dressed. She takes pride in presenting herself neatly.

■ Her origins, family and childhood are all kept private and she rarely talks about anything very personal of herself, preferring to change the subject or just shrug questions off.

■ Conjury and medical/biological science have been her main job interests since childhood (apparently) and in recent years Vih has taken up the study of Voidsent and others of Eorzea and beyond's rare and/or magical beasts.

■ It was through those studies that she discovered an odd gift for handling the otherwise hostile types of beasts as she seems to have a calming effect that allows her to work closely with them without as much risk of harm. She speculates that this may be a form of the Echo, but is still studying and testing herself with that theory.

■ She has a pet Chimera "doll" she stole from a merchant and tinkered around with until she got it functioning again. It's name is Gizmo.

■ Her bobtail isn't natural like her ears. All she says when asked about it is that she 'lost it' as a teenager but can't quite remember how.

■ Actually a hopeless romantic at heart.

■ Needs glasses for reading/close work. Generally they sit on top of her head when she doesn't need them.

■ Is actually a skilled weaver and enjoys customising or making her own clothes.

■ Dislikes the mole on her face as she sees it as a nasty blemish which throws off the aesthetic of her symmetrical tattoos.
