She often is seen staring at people as if trying to either mentally talk to them (which obviously never happens) or day dreaming. She holds a scar across her right eye which has caused her to become blind within that same eye as well as a large burn scar on her entire front; possibly why she acts as if she is mute (though she isn't). Her quiet demeanor is a put off or causes people to treat her differently as if she doesn't understand what they are saying. She has full understanding and will often use facial expressions to tell others how she feels. ▼ The little Orphan - Notes Ella does not note much on her past but there are a few things she will. These will need to be asked ICly to be used. Ella's parents were a Blacksmith(father) and a small Restaurant owner/cook (mother). Was orphaned when the Garleans charged through Ala Mhigo when she was 8 years old. Her father attempted to fight and was slaughtered (so she thinks!) and her mother died protecting Ella in her arms. She received the tip of the sword blade on her eye as it slashed down her mother's back. Ella, like many other Ala Mhigan children weas taken in by others to help them retreat from the city and to safety. Ella did not talk with the other children along the way as she was constantly stricken with her parent's cries of pain and death. This is an ongoing nightmare even in to adulthood and has been prone to night-terrors. Ella was often picked on growing up because of how quiet she was and that she had accepted a Non Highlander as a sibling (who is MIA at this time). She, however, would never fight back only because she wanted to help her people; not harm them. This caused the children to see her to be even more weak and often played cruel tricks on her or just senselessly beat her up to rid themselves of their own anger. ▼ SKILLS & ABILITIES ▼ MAJOR ■ Swordsmanship - A strong use of the one-handed sword. ■ Shield - Strong use of her shield on combat over her sword. Often used as a primary weapon she will both attack and defend with it. ■ Rifle - Usage of a rifle can be compared to her ability with the sword. While new at the weapon she seems to have taken well to it. ▼ MINOR ■ First aid - First Aid (speaks for itself) ■ Hunting - Is a decent hunter, especially when you need to try to survive in Little Ala Mhigo with very little supplies. ▼ POOR ■ Quiet - Ella isn't much of a talker unless in private or required for meetings. Other than that she is short, cold, and puts on a mask. ■ Aether Usage - Ella was never taught how to use her aether and nor is she interested in learning. Her body, however, has the ability to use it but only internally for fast healing. ■ Self Esteem - Ella grew up often picked on by the other children of Little Ala Mhigo about how she took in a Keeper child to help raise. Due to this she is always low toned and second guessing herself even when praised. While she does not know where the Miqo'te is from or anything of the such she finds that she takes pride in her work and wants to help people.   Rawkin Forgeheart ♥♦ Raw ► Rawkin is a Blacksmith who has seemed to have interest in Ella for some time. After meeting at the Grindstone and admiring his craftsmanship of his own axe, Rawkin agreed to fix her own sword and since has gained not only a friend in Ella but her heart. The two seem almost inseparable. When away Ella's mind often drifts to him and how he has treated her compared to her terrible past. Rawkin seems to be head over heels for the woman as well and constantly tries to please her and hates being without her as well.   Santi Soulcaller♦ Eyes ► A female Highlander Ella met randomly one day. Of course, by random it soon became a common occurrence as she would often take the woman's carbuncle and snuggle the hell out of it; not knowing she used it as her eyes. She is happy to have her around as she is a healer and works great with the group.   Reiner Dorn♦ Flashy Pants ► A well known Noble Highlander that has taken a place in one of the leadership positions within the Vanguard. His knowledge and golden tongue to handle situations earns him all of Ella's respect. She finds him to be a wise Elder and believes he should be treasured for the information he has locked away in his mind, hoping he passes it down to the next generation of Ala Mhigans.   Theovon♣♦ Old Man ► An old Ala Mhigan who has taken the Leadership role of the Wardens; Ella finds him to be very loud yet friendly (in some senses). She does enjoy the fact that he and Rawkin get along so well and finds their 'bro-ship' to be cute. She has an odd feeling about the man though. She believes she may have known him when she was young but can't seem to place it. (Ella's Father)   Mistalv Arroway♦ Fist ► A Highlander monk who crazily believes she is one of Rhalgr's chosen after having a feverish dream and believing that he was speaking to her. She believes the woman's heart is in the right place but believes she is going to put herself in to harm's way to try and prove she was chosen.   Barengar Armsbreaker ⌠ ♦ ⌡' Armsbreaker ► Meet in Limsa, Ella was greatly interested in the large axe the man held. After several grunts between the two since neither of them seemed like talkers they held a small mini spar there to test eachother's strength. Both seemingly evenly match; they gave eachother a nod of respect and went about their ways. With his display, Ella treats him with the utmost respect and hopes to run in to him again someday.   Avelyn Firestone ⌠ ♦ ⌡ Fireheart ► Ella ran in to Ave out of the blue but found the woman's spirit to not only be bright and a beacon of the pride the woman held for her people; but had found somewhat of an entertainment in her. Ella enjoys watching Ave taunt people in to sparring with her and will often just sit and watch. While she doesn't talk much with her she is a silent admirer of the woman.   Matthrian Gothmyr ⌠ ♠ ⌡ Touched ► A man who Ella fears and wants to keep away from as much as possible. After meeting him while he was trying to kill some Miq'ote she took action by tackling him and freeing the woman. The crazied void touched man believed her to be his 'lover' who died and began to follow her. After encountering him yet again outside Tailfeather she called for Aid and the group was able to convince the man that she was not who he thought she was but now have a watchful eye on him due to believing him to be Void Touched. Ella does not want to work or be around Matthrian as she believes he is a ticking timebomb and is just plain crazy. ♥ Affection: The character is having a particular feeling of want and desire for this specific character.
