Biography

Childhood

-Born in the Black Shroud to a Doman merchant from a wealthy family who had recently arrived in Eorzea to work for Amajina & Sons Mineral Concern, and a young Gridanian woman.

-Younger of two siblings by one year.

-Although his father married his mother shortly after the birth of his older sister, he was rarely at home due to the nature of his work. Gil orders would be sent back home to the shroud to help support the family, until eventually they stopped coming altogether. He would not see or hear from his father again until many years later.

Teenage

-Left home at fourteen to travel to Uldah against the wishes of his mother and sister. Although he justified this as an opportunity for him to find some sort of work to help provide for his mother and sister, part of him believed he would find his father there....despite having no idea what he would do if he was actually able to confront the man.
