Basic Info

Daimyo Quackahashi is the talkative cloudkin companion of one Rohan Takayama. Though he originally hails from Limsa Lominsa, his travels have taken him from one end of Eorzea to the other.

History

While his exploits have since earned him land, title, and fortune, Daimyo Quackahashi was not always the prestigious figure he is today. Born into obscurity on a humble duck farm, it seemed that Quackahashi was doomed to a short life that would end in the kitchen. Fate, however, had other plans: purchased by Hiroto Takayama for dinner, the lord of the family impulsively thrust Quackahashi into the arms of his soon-to-be son-in-law, Rohan, as a test of the young swordsman's mettle. Instructed to care for the duck to prove he could provide for his fiancée, Rohan vowed to make of Quackahashi a self-sufficient duck and expert adventurer, and then and there dubbed him Daimyo Quackahashi: lord of ducks.

Personality

Despite his lofty station, the Daimyo is a humble duck who values friendship, loyalty, breadcrumbs, and courage above his own ambitions. He is also an extremely opinionated duck, however, and he can be quite vocal over matters as simple as whether or not he should be allowed to eat cake.

Affiliations

Rohan Takayama is Daimyo Quackahashi's first and foremost friend, and through him he is associated with the adventurers M'yerri Yhunva and Seseli Seli, as well as Rohan's fiancée, Mariko Takayama. Presently, Rohan, M'yerri, Seseli, and Quackahashi are working together as bodyguards for the Liautroix family, alongside Gustavain Muraudel and Arvid Greave.
