Basic Info

Daimyo Quackahashi is the, uh, "talkative" cloudkin companion of Rohan Inokoshi. Although he is of Lominsan origin, the legend of Quackahashi transcends national boundaries, and his travels have taken him across Eorzea and Othard alike.

History

While his exploits have earned him land, title, and fame, Daimyo Quackahashi was not always the prestigious figure he is today. Born into obscurity on a humble duck farm, it seemed that Quackahashi was doomed to a short life that would end under a butcher's knife. Fate, however, had other plans: purchased by Mariko Inokoshi for dinner, her husband, Rohan, found himself looking into the cloudkin's eyes before it could be butchered and knew they were destined for greater things. Also, he wasn't really hungry for duck that day. Therefore, Rohan vowed to make of the critter a self-sufficient duck and expert adventurer, and then and there dubbed him Daimyo Quackahashi: Lord of Ducks.

Personality

Despite his lofty station, the Daimyo is a humble quacker who values friendship, loyalty, breadcrumbs, and courage above his own ambitions. He is also an extremely opinionated duck, however, and he can be quite vocal over matters as simple as whether or not he should be allowed to eat some of that cake you have there.

Affiliations

Rohan Takayama is Daimyo Quackahashi's first and foremost friend, and through him he is associated with the adventurers M'yerri Yhunva, Seseli Seli, and Tyaa Zinjehl, as well as Rohan's wife, Mariko Inokoshi. Presently, Rohan, Mariko, M'yerri, Seseli, Tyaa, and Quackahashi are working together as agents of the Othardian Resistance, and fight valiantly to liberate Doma from the breadcrumbless rule of Garlemald.
