Pheli once had a paralyzing fear of the beastkin, but her former mate showed her how to channel her fear into the strength to fight them, and the Seeker will easily do so now, but seems to lose control when she does, as though her fear was channeled into an unrelenting rage towards the beast tribe. ■ Oppression. Pheli was a slave once, and she will not tolerate the subjugation of anyone against their will. If she sees this, she will step in and even fight the oppressor without fear. ■ Harm to her Friends. It is no secret that Pheli cares deeply about her friends and companions, to the point where her normally calm, shy personality will become aggressive, even violent, if one of her friends is harmed. Quirks ■ Scatterbrained. Pheli can lose her train of thought sometimes, making for some embarrassing antics. ■ Corrupted Aether. Pheli was trapped on the voidal plane for a year, fighting for her life and sanity. The void energies, combined with her unique aether, twisted her energy such that anyone who can sense aether would mistake her for being voidtouched or even voidsent. This is not the case. However, she does need to supplement her own aether with a small bit of another individual's every four suns or so, or her corrupted aether will drain from her life energy. ■ Stubborn. Pheli's mother once said, "That girl could demand the walls move for her to pass, and she would not budge til they did." and she could not be more right. Once her mind is made up,Pheli will see a task to its completion, no matter what. ■ Courageous. Pheli has a strong will to protect those she loves and cares for. This trait has gotten her into trouble, but if it means saving a life or getting someone else out of trouble, it is worth it to her, even if it causes physical, mental or aetherical injury. Appearance Standing at only 4 fulms, 10 ilms and weighing only 97 ponze, Pheli's diminutive stature has earned her the nicknames "smolcatte", "tinycatte", and "Lil Kit" by some. She doesn't mind her height, normally, but will get a bit upset if it is openly mocked or teased. She has a tufted tail, somewhat long by Seeker standards, and she has been known to grab light items or hold onto things with it. She has black hair, with lavender/violet coloured streaks in it. Her hairstyle may vary, though it is currently a short bob around her face. She has a scar over her right eye, one on the bridge of her nose, and still another on her left cheek. Her right eye is covered with an eyepatch; as it can no longer see anything but aether, and constantly glows, giving off smokelike tendrils of aether when exposed. She has various other scars over her body, consisting of Amalj'aa bite marks, claw marks, knife wounds, a scar across her throat from an attempted murder, and a sword penetration in her lower belly, rendering her infertile. She wears unrestricting clothing, having no aversion to hiding her scars. Usually a skirt and thigh high boots. NPC Baderon Tenfingers ( ♥ ) ( NPC ) - "Pops" or "Salty" Baderon has known Pheli since she was four days old, having taken her and her mother, Dazi Nosuk, in when they first arrived in Vylbrand. He let them stay rent-free at the Inn, and Dazi worked as a tavernier. Baderon gave Pheli's mother the affectionate name "Daisy Half-tail" due to the pronunciation of her name, and the fact she had the end half of her tail missing. When Pheli was old enough, she helped wipe down tables and ran errands for Baderon. The day her mother went missing, taken by the Serpent Reavers, Baderon told Pheli the Yellowjackets would take care of things, and Pheli ran away to Woad Whisper Canyon and stayed there for three days. Rage overtook her, and Pheli went to the Serpent Reaver's den alone with her carbuncle, Dia. She made a grave mistake that almost cost her her life, and Baderon went out to find her when she didn't return from her announced plan. He found Pheli's chocobo, Alanna, coming up the road to the Tempest Gate, soaked in blood and a half-dead Pheli slung across her back, her left arm nearly severed near the shoulder. PC Masao Aniko ( ♥ ) - "Sao-kun", "Chef" or "Valiant" Like Pheli, Masao has been in some rough relationship patches. Everyone that knows the pair of them felt they should be together, much to Pheli's unease and Masao's embarassment. After her separation from the sire of her children and the death of her close love and confidant, Pheli was terrified of hurting someone else. Masao slowly wormed his way into Pheli's heart, and the two of them just started dating very recently, taking it slow and steady to ease the hurt of the past. Zyreil'a Yeren ( ? ) - "Mentor" or "Master" Zyreil'a has known Pheli since she was fifteen years of age, teaching her the ways of thaumaturgy for a time, as well as having some romantic trysts in her of-age years before he disappeared when she was about twenty. She figured she would never see him again, but somehow he returned, and for a while he seemed the part of the villain and wreaking havoc on poor Pheli before vanishing again during the period of time she was pregnant with her son and daughter. After her incident in the void, he suddenly returned, acting as he did back when she was younger, and seeming to not know what had happened before. Pheli is wary, but he seems to be there the most when she needs it.
