Character

General

A Seeker of the Sun with not much to hide, he's a wanderer at heart. Aside from the general matters of his tribe, he never has much to personally say about himself, preferring to look to the present. He's recently vanished for quite a few months, reasons why unknown. While he seems substantially different in appearance, some of his demeanor is still the same old welcoming self.

Behavior

Outwardly, C'thaniel is an incredibly welcoming individual. He's not adverse to physical contact, and typically invites it, provided it doesn't hurt him. In fact, he prefers to be close to others before he finds out who exactly they are, and at that point he makes his judgements from there. If he's seen alone, his demeanor shifts drastically to one of contemplative sadness unless he's traveling.

While traveling, C'thaniel won't turn away from helping someone with a job, or protecting people from the dangers of nature or bandits. He seldom expects much in return, simply continuing on his path when his impromptu job is done.

Combat

General

• Proficiencies: Archery, lances.
• Strengths: Speed, cunning.
• Weaknesses: Lack of raw physical strength.

With his bow he obviously prefers to keep his range, opting to pelt his foes in a rain of arrows at a comfortable distance. Should the distance be closed, and he engages in close-quarters combat, he'll flip out a knife hidden in his boot to in order to surprise his opponent and make distance. He's not beyond using dirty handed tactics to protect himself or those he's protecting.

With his lance in hand, he keeps a medium distance away from his target. This allows his lance to strike while giving him enough of a safe space to avoid purely close-ranged attacks. Should the distance be closed while using his lance, the boot knife is drawn and he uses it to create distance while using his lance to guard against some other attacks. Should he be too far away from his target to use the lance as intended, it's not behind him to literally throw his lance at his foe.

• Etone Grennote: C'thaniel thinks fairly well of the older Miqo'te, and is humored over his lack of subtly.
• S'demyx Tia: The last time C'thaniel saw S'demyx was quite a while ago, they were in a sort of weird spot. Where exactly they'd stand now, is a curious thought.
• Kuja'ra Nunh: C'thaniel and Kuja'ra had a sort of respectable camarade with each other, again, where they particularly stand is also anyone's guess!
