Appearance

► Short, even for a lalafell, with green hair that blends in well with the vegetation around her and pale skin. She is always wearing an eyepatch covering her right eye and usually looks the part of a mage.

Characteristics

► Random animated objects often trail behind her including a broom and a wind-up qiqirn.

Personality

► Kind: She treats most people she doesn't know with as much respect as she can, enjoying their company despite her preference to quiet contemplation.

► Insightful: Romi knows a lot about magic and a lot about the history of the world and can provide - and sometimes will without provocation - lessons into both.

► Independent: This could be a good or a bad thing, but she had a tendency to handle bigger hurdles on her own.

► Hubris: Romi is a powerful magi and although she handles things so people don't have to put themselves into danger, she also sometimes thinks she is the only one who can.

COMBAT

► Elusive: She tries to avoid combat, not because of any adherence to a non-violent cause. Rather, she knows a lot of magicks that could be considered highly illegal and does her part to stay quiet.

► High Aetheric Ability: When she finally does engange, she does so spectacularly. She will put down the maximum amount of force she believes her opponent needs to be put down as quickly as she can to not draw out the fight.

BIOGRAPHY

Past

Romimo spent a large part of her life traveling, but she started her life in a small village in the Twelveswood where she studied and learned conjury. She did this, living an otherwise quiet life, until she reached adulthood. When she did, she took it upon herself to learn more about the magicks in Eorzea, feeling her learning of Conjuration starting to stagnate. She made her way to Ul'dah, the Thaumaturge's guild.

She spent nearly five years in Ul'dah, secluding herself to her study of thaumaturgy. Until then, she hadn't left her forest home. Never seen outside of the woods, but it never occurred to her to worry. She had a singular focus, and that was her studies.

When she felt she had learned what she could from the guild, she went out into the world and is where she spent the majority of her life. She spent an unknown amount of years doing unaccounted for things to further her understanding of aether, its history, and its uses.

She returned to her old home right around the time Locke Rinannis was born and lived a quiet life there, helping their family raise their children while continuing her research and doing her part to help shape the health of the woods around them.

The terrible events that occurred, in her surprise, forced her to leave.

Present

Romi still travels frequently, but mostly to acquire things she needs to bring back. Otherwise, she's at the Poor Maid's Mill, helping the Salthounds defend that location. After she had left her old home, she made her way to Nym, hoping she could find things there to improve her situation. There, she reunited with some of her old Qiqirn friends and got introduced to the Salthounds.

Until recently, due to a recent condition, she was only able to provide labor and small healing for the men and women fighting the wild there. They quickly took a liking to her, becoming protective, bigger siblings of their new tiny mage friend.

Her condition has recently vanished, and with it, her magicks have returned and now helps in greater ways to push back against their enemies.
