Appearance

Shinra appears young even for 24. He generally keeps his hair longer and darker but, this is known to change frequently due to work. He is of average height and of a slightly lighter build. His eyes are a deep red.

Generally is seen in darker Maelstrom armor. His clothing choice tends to allow for movement and he is normally seen with his sword on his hip or his hunting bow on his back.

If one was to see Shinra without a chest piece they would notice a scar on his chest from a spear, and along his left hip what seems to be a claw mark. On his hand he bears a Garlean prison brand, that has additional markings to signify he is a lab subject.

Biography

Childhood

SPOILERS ABOUND

Shinra was born in a small hunting outpost near the Garlean Borders. He lived a relatively happy life in the forests with his family. It was here he trained under his parents to hunt and under his few neighbors how to survive. At the age of 10 he, was out playing with his sisters when Garlean escort happened upon the outpost. The outpost was destroyed and his family turned into prisoners. Shinra and his family became test subjects for numerous research projects.

Teenage

After three years in that hellish camp Shinra had made his escape. Vowing revenge and a method to reverse any future project results he entered the Shroud. He managed to make his way to Gridania where he trained and studied. On his Seventeenth birthday he left Gridania to try his skill, and begin his latest hunt.

Present

These days Shinra has made a name for himself as a Secruity Adviser, and solver of problems. He has built up a small library of books, tomes, scrolls, and other sources of wisdom and, is researching into something he doesn't wish to share. He recently hit a road block in his studies and has joined the Night Blades in an attempt to further mutual goals.

Friends & Acquaintances ● name - ♥name - ♥ name - ● S'ereno Tia - The chance encounter of meeting this individual multiple times did not initially sit well with Shinra. He sensed something off about the man but didn't place much more than a cautionary sign on the individual. On a field exploration into corrupted Aether he happened upon Reno again. After a short exchange he was sure he might have to kill the man. Things eventually worked out to an understanding and, words of friendship were exchanged yet, Shinra remains slightly cautious of him to this day. ● Umi Kanzato - Shinra had the chance of meeting her on the same hour as meeting S'ereno. She didn't talk much to him and seemed more interested in local flora but, Shinra rather enjoyed that such an event didn't phase her research. Aside from the research he found her mildly polite and reasonable, however; due to her relationship with S'ereno, he is not sure how much he trusts her or what exactly she is up to. ● [[]] - ● Stanzie Ryhees - Met with her to enter the Night Blades R&D division. Found her to be polite and, reasonable. Fairly cautious which was understandable.
