Jin'sae "Jin" Molkot, (9th Sun of the 4th Astral Moon, 1556) is a Black Shroud born Miqo'te Keeper of the Moon who has spent a large portion of his life with family abroad after the Calamity in a small village inside the nation of Doma on the shores of Othard. Forced to leave the home they made upon the arrival of the Garlean conquest he has thus made his way back to Eorzea by boat with what family he has left in search of his clan, which he has now left due to reasons which inevitably became worthless.

Appearance & Personality
Standing slightly tall for a Miqo'te wither broader shoulders, but like the most of his family Jin'sae is a pale-skinned, emerald green-eyed Keeper of the Moon with snow white hair, he prefers to keep it unkempt and slightly on the longer side. He's prone to adapting to wear whatever clothing fits his environment or scenery, be it a green tabard in the the woods or a long warm coat in the bitter cold of Coerthas. He always seems to keep himself prepared for whatever may be.
Easily distracted by the smallest of things and easily bored he'll find himself daydreaming or just spacing out looking at the world, whether his sight's fixed on an everyday scene you take for granted or something as trivial as the sky. Due to his life as a wandering Keeper it can be a tedious task pinpointing an exact location on where he is, always on the move trying to see what he can learn or prosper from in business. When Jin'sae talks with someone he'll take a little bit of humor over formality, often he'll end up teasing those he speaks with as a means of affection or even trust. When it comes to women however, even though it's not his intent he'll often come off as a horrible flirt.
Although Jin'sae is plenty intelligent, he will often find himself getting involved with questionable individuals strictly out of seeking knowledge, having a specific interest in mind or just looking for something to cure his insatiable boredom. Needless to say, it usually finds a way to backfire on him without fail.
History
Pre-calamity
Born into a hallowed out tree in a dirty swamp of the Black Shroud to the Molkot family, Jin'sae was always a bit different from the most of his family. While the family was known for having quite the few Conjurers and Arcanists, he took to using a bow or spear instead. The Molkot family being part of the infamous Morbolvine Clan was the artistic and most reserved of the families. Often opting to remain quiet than speak aloud their issues unless it holds significance to the clans well being overall, which is exactly what Jin'sae did. He kept to himself mostly, but he was by no means weak like some of his family seemed to be. Passing each his family trials at a young age, as well as his clan trials was enough to show the merit in that. Never would he boast though, as it only came off as a waste of time to him. Instead he'd look to learn more, gather whatever useful knowledge he could.
The Molkot family being know for having many female huntresses of the clan educated by wandering scholars under the orders of ruling Molkot matriarchs, the family was filled with quite the few Conjurers and Arcanists, Jin'sae being a hunter, didn't learn those talents, howver he did pick up enough knowledge to know the basics. Instead he took to learning the bow and spear, going even toe to toe at times with the stronger and more athletic family of the Morbolvine Clan, the Polaali. Jin'sae gained a form of respect for this, as did his brothers, mostly Jin'a who was the warrior of the the four and Jin'sae's closest friend.
Post-calamity 1572-1578
A time came where Jin Molkot, Jin'sae's mother, felt that Eorzea had become an unsuitable place for her family in the aftermath of the Calamity, she fled Eorzea with Jin'sae, Lydiah, and several brothers, sisters and cousins that they could manage to find in the chaos. It was nearly two years of continuous travel before the family ended up in Doma, a nation on the shores of the continent of Othard. Although it wasn't their intent at first to make a new home there, they found themselves lingering longer than expected and had decided to call this strange land their home. In time Jin'a and Jin'sae began training as Shinobi, first the elder, with the younger following shortly after out of obvious interest. Though it is not known exactly how they came into learning this, and Jin'sae has chosen not to share despite Lydiah asking incessantly.
Lydiah, being closest in age to Jin'sae, wished to follow in his footsteps, but she was deemed an unacceptable student due to her immaturity, though she was eventually able to convince Jin'sae to begin teaching her in secret even though he thinks of her as reckless. However the boy loves his little sister and can hardly say no to her.
Life was fine in Doma, though as outsiders the family was not well versed on every particular of Doman culture other than the slight bit of slang Jin'sae picked up, they still felt that it was their home, that is until the Garleans appeared in their conquest. Jin'a and Jin'sae fought, looking for what family they could find while protecting Lydiah. Sadly there came a moment when the three had no choice, a sacrifice had to be made if there was to be any hope. Jin'a being who he was took that opportunity to give his brother and sister the chance to flee with the Domans to Ul'dah. Seeking refuge in Ul'dah, Jin'sae and Lydiah determined it better to split ways with the fellow refugees and seek what family they could in the all too nostalgic Black Shroud.
Present (Will keep updated!)
Upon his arrival back in Eorzea, Jin'sae and his sister Lydiah found their old clan. The Morbolvine Clan. Welcomed back with open arms, but by people neither of them knew made Jin'sae feel curious. The two spent a time there hearing about how the clan just recently got over some form of "drama", though it was never spoken as to what happened he soon came to learn of the truth from the first familiar face he'd seen since his return. Miah Polaali, he knew that name of one from his memory. Tom-boyish girl who was at a point made acting matron, and did what was needed for the clan. Learning all of these things about the new people who welcomed him home, she made them out to be liars and traitors, destroying Morbolvine, then leaving it while still holding the name on a flag.
During his time feeling conflicted due to strange facts and lack of people telling him anything, he took to having a mate by the name of Terilia Moui, the girl was strange and being who he was, he found her to be enthralling. The two seemed as if inseparable until she mysteriously vanished from his home one night to never be seen again, he still hasn't any idea what happened to her and neither does anyone else.
Eventually those people who 'destroyed' Morbolvine left to start their own clan, the Shroudwolf Clan and took nearly all that was left of Morbolvine with them, including Jin'sae's sister who is now missing due to not having a close eye kept on her. Now Jin'sae finds himself searching half the Shroud and has even had to fight Imperial scum in his attempts to locate her, even taking near fatal injuries because of it.
There came a time however where he made a drunken choice of bedding a Seeker female, E'shtola Halha, who became his mate shortly after as the two came to find out that she was carrying his kits which inevitably lead to Jin'sae leaving the clan he held so dear to join those over in Shroudwolf for the sake of her and their kin. Sadly however this turned to be another backfire in his life, the woman drank during her pregnancy and felt constantly stressed due to him always seeing someone she hated, his cousin. Jin'sae loves his family and would never give up them for any reason which lead to the miscarriage of the kits and her leaving him for likely someone better.
Jin'sae has since then left Shroudwolf since nothing there anchored him and for the sheer fact he just felt not welcomed to instead become a wanderer, as well as a trading partner with a man named Kousei who he met in Doma. Thanks to this man, Jin'sae feels he has some purpose and is making what business decisions he can, when he can. Lately you can find him either lingering around in Ul'dah or hunting for game in the depths of the Shroud.
Miscellaneous Talents
Survival: Coming from a family filled with gatherers and a clan of hunters, Jin'sae took up to studying to wild life of the Shroud, learning the plants and knowing what each one can do to the body if used. Thanks to this he has the ability to diagnose and cure a disease placed upon himself or another with whatever possible plant life may be around him at the time at the time. Though be it rare, it has come in handy at times. He has also found himself exceptional with a bow or spear, though he hardly uses the two for combat now as he did in his younger of days.
Culinary: During quite a bit of his free time, Jin'sae took up the hobby of cooking and since then has become superb in the field. At one point the boy worked at a bed and breakfast in Lavender Beds called The Lavender Carbuncle and has even had the honor of working for a short time at the well known restaurant, The Bismark in Limsa Lominsa. While his specialty is a traditional Keeper of the Moon dish called Salmon Meuniere, he's also the capability of cooking a wide variety of dishes from Sauteed Coeurl to a simple bowl of Mashed Popotoes. He doesn't mind cooking for others, so long as they enjoy the dish.
Ninjutsu: While living in Doma, Jin'sae took up training as a shinobi with his eldest brother. A huge part of the the way of the shinobi is the art of ninjutsu. Being able to manipulate the vital energies of the land, the air, as well as living beings, you can manifest your power through the weaving of hand signs called Mudra. Taking the title Jonin as he's learned just about all he could in his time there, but will still do whatever he can to learn more. However due to teaching and his own specific reasoning, he refuses to use the skill unless it's absolutely needed.
Chocobo breeding: The Molkot family was known to be have a few excellent chocobo breeders. He's taken care of many of the birds back before the calamity and wishes he could start doing it once more. Mostly extensive in his knowledge for growing chocobo feed, ranging from gysahl greens and curiel roots to Doman plums.
