Basic Info

Yasashii is a Miqo'te refugee from Doma; after both her daughter and Husband were killed in the carnage of what happened in Doma regarding the Imperial Legion's march on the country. She was trained to be a kunochi since her third year of birth. However she is not only skilled with just dagger play; she knows how to wield an axe; and wield it good she does. However; Yasashii put most of her fighting for coin behind her after Doma fell. She contends in fighting tournaments not for glory; but to improve upon her skill. Yasashii's primarily favorite task to do is cook, she enjoys the faces of others when they dig into her meals finding them tasty; and she feels flattered when they ask for more. She has picked up a recent interest in the Allagan technology; after exploring Eorzea and stumbling upon countless ruin of the empire of old. She has begun tinkering around with the weapons and parts she had found while within the ruin, finding it to be a fun past time while she is not helping her Free Company with their countless misadventures. She sees all of them to be her sons and daughters, and will do all she can to protect them and make them smile, even if it is embarrassing for outsiders to view. Yasashii is scared.. Of commitment,she feels as if that she were to fall back in love with someone they would end up killed as her husband and daughter did. And she could not handle that lost twice. When one first meets Yasashii; she will be well-mannered and polite as she can; even if the way one meets Yasashii was not the best of introductions, she does not enjoy seeing conflicts arise between her now 'fellow countrymen'. And would prefer if the two conflicting sides would ally and aid against the Empire threat that looms over Eorzea once again, but she is no fool. Yasashii can dream, but she knows conflict; even if it is between brother and brother, son and father, will always exist. Yasashii will never admit to it; but she has severe lust for cake, she loves cake more then anything, and everything in the Realm. She is akin to the Whorleater "Leviathan", able to consume whole cakes to herself in a matter of minutes if not minutes.

Appearance & Personality

Yasashii is a rather tall, and slender Miqo'te with ebony skin, She has odd eyes; one silver as can be; the other nearly as red as the fallen moon Dalamud. Yasashii's face and body is covered in scars; mostly from her being stupid as a child. For instance; the scar on her brow is from playing with a sword, and well, she is lucky it only scarred her brow and kept her eye intact. Another example of her childhood stupidity would be while her husband (whom is now deceased.) was practicing throwing knives at a target; she hid behind the said target and waited till a 'most opportune' time to scream "Surprise!" which when she did, the throwing knife slid past her cheek and permanently scarred her. Luckily she gotten wiser with each of those scars. Yasashii is sweet and kind, patient and obedient, she never disobeys orders but she will have doubts on the thing if she believes it to be foolish, but she tends to keep those doubts to herself. She's can be overly protective; and overly endearing, she will baby people her own age if she considers them to be family. She will protect her family at all costs; though she will not take a life for them unless it is to assure her 'family's' survival. She would gladly take a blade, a bullet, an arrow for them, even if they would not do the same.

Biography

Childhood

Yasashii was an adoptive child of a Doman clan, she was not always welcomed there being the only miqo'te of the Clan. She does not know her birth parents and honestly does not care if she ever meets them, assuming they are alive. She was happy even if they were not the most welcoming family. At an early age; she began training endlessly to become a shinobi, to blend in the shadows and to be as quiet as the night.

Teenage

Yasashii at the age of sixteen was put into an arranged marriage with another family's son, which luck may-have-it, was not that bad, the two were happily married, and had a child after three years of the marriage; it was only a year/cycle (whatever) before the Garlean empire invaded and conquered Doma, that she completed her Shinobi training. When the Empire did invade; she watched as her family, and friends were butchered or enslaved. Of course her husband fought back, due to that. He was executed along with Yasashii's daughter, while imperial foot-soldiers held Yasashii down to make her watch, after they.. Violated her. She was lucky to get out alive, she found a sail-boat along the coast after hours upon hours of fleeing from the carnage; to make refuge to the land Eorzea; just in time for Ishgard to finally open up as well, for that was the harbors the boat landed to.

Present

Now; Yasashii assists the Rising Claws with their Misadventures; providing emotional and moral support to them when they are in need. She provides them with food when they least expect it, and offers advise when needed. Yasashii may not be the most formidable of fighters, but she will do her best to protect the Claws even if it costs her, her own life.
