Background

Okhi hails from Gridania where she was raised by her adoptive Miqo'te parents. She has since embarked on her own journey of discovery. Along the way she has met fellow adventurers Rhaq'ir and Jerciex. In her travels she joined a mercenary group and met Eva. Since then she has tried to expose herself to more of the world outside her canvas. Okhi is fairly ignorant of the outside world and the grudges people seem to have with one another. Her desires are to find her real parents and meet new and interesting races and people.

Personality

Okhi is quite easy going and fairly silly when out and about. But when she is working she is deadly serious and takes all her training into account for her future actions. She has also come to see her naivete shattered seeing people have hatred for people just from different lands. Growing up isolated she never had these hatreds and now cannot stand for people to act out on this hatred. Growing up in Gridania she lived in seclusion making her very socially awkward as an adult.

Okhi's Journey thus Far

Early Years Okhi is unsure of her birthplace other than she was left on the doorstep of the Leyhga Miqo’te Family. She spent most of her young life being picked on by the other children since she had such an odd family. This never seem to bother her much but did make her more of a recluse choosing to be with her family and help out at home than go out in play. She neglected some of her schooling choosing to be self-taught in various trades her parents were involved in.

Teens In Okhi’s teen years she began reading romance novels and comics as she didn’t have much interaction with people so the only thing she had were her books. As she got taller than her parents and as they got Older Okhi would protect them when out collecting wood for furniture. In these treks Okhi would stop and observe all the nature in its infinite splendor setting her on a path of painting and drawing the things she loves. Around the time she turned fifteen already 6 alms tall she had fallen down a hill in the Central Shroud by Haukke Manor. She had sprained her ankle and got a deep cut across the bridge of her nose. She had found herself cornered by some creature when out of nowhere a large circular blade flew into the creature killing it. Before Okhi had passed out all she could remember was a tall woman with sharp features and a headband standing over her. When Okhi awoke she was home in her bed all bandaged up. She never could tell if the person she saw was a dream or not.

Adult As Okhi’s parents were getting older they retired to the Lavender Beds, and Okhi set out to discover herself and discover who her real parents are. She set out from Gridania with the help of Jerciex who helped her to reach Thanalan where they parted ways if only temporarily as she finished the journey with a young Miqo’te Bodyguard named Rhaq’ir. Upon arriving in the hot city of Ul’Dah she started training her body to be stronger and faster, learning the ways of the pugilist. After weeks of meditation and training she had a flashback to the day she was saved seeing her savior and the weapons she wielded. The next morning Okhi set out to find the Rogue guild she enlisted with them and began training. During this time she joined the Maelstrom guard to make extra coin to pay for her painting supplies and housing. After a few months she had strengthened herself quite a bit and her Master Ashille pointed her in the direction of Oroboro the Ninja master. Upon completion of her Ninja training she had learned of where her parents might be. In the Couerthas Highlands and maybe even Ishgard. So she continued to train and took in side jobs protecting people as a bodyguard. On a break from training in the mountains Okhi had heard of a plot to kidnap young girls in Limsa so she picked up the contract and made her way back to her old stomping grounds. Upon arriving she saw the men of this organization loading some crates onto ships she quickly dispatched them and went searching for others. Upon reaching the drowned wench she saw one of the men eyeing a young Au Ra sitting at a table. Okhi quickly darted over and moved her to safety. The young girl was then retrieved by one of her guild mates. Okhi decided to head back into the Wench for a drink when she ran into woman who was of the same race as her and immediately inquired as to who she was. Okhi couldn’t quite place her finger on why this intrigued her so. The two sat down over a glass of water and whiskey. After a long talk she learned the young Roegadame as Okhi called them was named Glaz and she too was a bodyguard for hire. They swapped stories of their professions and came to a mutual agreeance with one another. At this point Okhi had figured out why she was attracted to this woman. She resembled the woman who saved her that day in the forest. But she kept this secret as she was afraid Glaz might hit her. So Okhi offered to buy her dinner and a round of drinks. Now being from the countryside of Gridania she was used to much stronger alcohol. After the drinking Okhi built up the courage to ask Glaz out with her for a walk. Glaz seemed flustered and left the room needing air. Okhi cautiously joining her outside startling her she approached from Glaz’s blind side. Okhi inquired about what the matter was and Glaz informed her she didn’t think she was allowed to be happy. Okhi just smiled and laughed assuring that she did deserve happiness and it wasn’t a trick. Taking Glaz’s hand to take her out on an adventure together. When they arrived at the beach Okhi had noticed that Glaz’s eyepatch wasn’t on but had promised not to mention anything about it so she smiled and walked down the beach. Only later Glaz noticed it wasn’t on and quickly rushed to put it back on. That’s when Okhi promised Glaz she would never bring up Glaz’s past or ask about it. This didn’t Bother her in the slightest it was the Glaz of the present she cared for.
