Samuru Lantis was born in the comfort of the Black Shroud. Both of his parents were of the Purist mindset, believing Elezen to be the one true race of Eorzea. Being rather forthcoming with their views, this caused a great deal of lonliness in Samuru's childhood. Often outcast by other children he would lock himself away to focus on the study of alchemy. His parents desired Ru to take a career in archery or carpentry, in order to follow the normal Elezen standard. However despite their insistence, Samuru could never find himself interested in either field. As time progressed, the rift between himself and his kin grew larger.

When Samuru approached his twentieth nameday he began to consider adventuring as a source of income. He also believed traveling to new destinations would help further his alchemy obsession. Once he joined the Arcanist's guild and began to work out in the field, he started to have doubts about his choice. He wasn't the strongest of Thubyrgeim's pupils, often having trouble completing assignments and struggling to fully hone the magical requirements. On the verge of giving up and searching for a new field, he took on one final task in hopes he could pass.

Standing at a short 6'3" for the Elezen race, Samuru appears to be a bit delicate and feminine. Pale complexion suits his lithe frame, light in musculature. Long white hair frames the soft lines of his face, eyes a mismatched tone of green and blue. Pointed ears peek from the lengthy strands to mark his origins. Usually seen in his Summoner gear, the Elezen walks with an air of grace and purpose.

Samuru is the true definition of a kind heart. He is usually the first to lend a hand to comrades when able, concerned for their well being. While he is usually soft spoken, he has an air about him that demands attention. His level of patience is fairly high which makes him a great friend to acquire. However, even Samuru has his limits. If they are reached, even the Twelve won't have the power to save the victim from his sharp tongue and quick wit. He is fiercely loyal to those he calls friend and will defend them to the death.

He is an avid flirt and rather bold in the realms of sexuality. He enjoys making others blush and flustered, a favored pass-time. Even though he likes being suggestive, he is rather guarded in terms of long term relationships. He tends to find it difficult to trust others enough to let them that close, which makes him a tough conquest to acquire.

■ Samuru is a Wildwood despite being a Duskwight in-game. I preferred Duskwight in character creator and made the choice before I decided to RP with him.

■ I am walk-up friendly but not always IC. If you aren't sure if I am up for RP, please send a tell!

■ I do follow lore as closely as I can. However I also don't have every element memorized, so I may make mistakes now and then. Also, I don't mind stepping outside of lore if it is for a really good plot and can still hold water.

■ I am a consent based player. No death of my character please, and mutilation/injury is negotiable.
